Miguel Nuno Africano Fernandes Barata Portugal. Affiliated to ISMAT, Portimão, Portugal. He is also a collaborating member of INTREPID LAB - Research for Business and Society (CETRAD). He holds a Ph.D. in Management in the area of Human Resources applied to Hospitality, a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, and a degree in Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations from the Universidade Europeia. He is an assistant professor and the Director of the Tourism Management course, as well as the Coordinator of Internships and Employability at ISMAT - Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes in Portimão. He is the author of scientific articles and technical books and a Member of the Editorial Board of the international journal Advancements in Management and Technology (AMT), Australia, and the International Journal on Recent Trends in Business and Tourism (IJRTBT), Asia Pacific Higher Learning Sdn Bhd, Malaysia. He has organised national and international events. He has supervised 23 master's dissertations. He has received 3 awards and/or honours.
