- Understanding the general principles inherent in the performance of the profession in the field of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician; - Know and apply the Good Practice of Hospital and Community Pharmacy; - Develop skills necessary to solve problems by applying practical knowledge, technical and adequate IT; - To know the theoretical principles that underpin professional practice in the area of Hospital Pharmacy and Community - Promote and develop a professional practice based on theoretical knowledge appropriate to the performance of Good Practice in Pharmacy - Collect, select and evaluate appropriate information from various sources in order to respond to the problems posed by patients / clients and other health careprofessionals within the Hospital and Community Pharmacy; - Contact with the principles of good manufacturing practice for medicinal products for human and veterinary use as well as other references applied to the pharmaceuticalindustry

A classificação final (CF) da unidade curricular por avaliação contínua é obtida a partir das classificações obtidas na componente escrita (T) e na componente prática (PL). A componente Teórica consta de duas frequências escritas e é relativa aos conteúdos teóricos. A classificação mínima em cada frequência é de 8 valores. A componente prática consta de 2 momentos de avaliação práticos realizados durante as aulas laboratoriais, A classificação mínima de cada momento é de 8 valores. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 PL. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5

- The curricular unit of Good Practices in Pharmacy will explore the principles by which the pharmacy technician should guide his professional practice and good practices in pharmacy, both in the hospital pharmacy environment and in the pharmacy environment. Students will be told concepts of the applicable legislation on medicines and pharmaceuticals, infrastructure and human resources. The different circuits for the distribution and production of medicines, as well as the special distribution circuits, will be addressed. Through practical classes, the student will develop knowledge about the procedures of good practices to be adopted in the different contexts of performance in pharmacy, by solving practical cases and presenting research papers, develop their capacity for analysis, interpretation of needs and problem solving
