• This curricular unit introduces the Portuguese legislation regarding safety against fire risk in buildings, Decree Law 220/2008 and 1532/2008. Studying these syllabus applied to the field of architecture allows the achievement of the objectives provided in the course, as students acquire basic and general knowledge of fire safety in buildings that allows them to design architectural solutions articulated with the needs of this project specialty.
