- As the name suggests. This is a curricular unite that takes place under tutorial guidance throughout the second year, so that students develop all their research, which will culminate in the preparation and defence of their Master´s dissertation, the basic aim of this course.
- Monitoring and individual guidance student in the following areas: - Collection of information on the dissertation topic. - Definition of the problem and starting issues. - Collection of information - bibliographic research. - Conceptualization of the problem.- Cheking of model and proposed solutions. - Preparing the dissertation or project. - Preparation for the public defense of the dissertation
A unidade curricular, pelas suas caraterísticas, funcionará em modo tutorial. Cada estudante escolherá o seu orientador e co-orientador, que o acompanharão durante o perído de concretização da dissertação, mediante a realização de reuniões regulares ao longo do ano, nas quais será feita uma avaliação da evolução dos trabalhos e sugeridos os ajustamentos que se revelem necessários.

- In this curricular unit students develop a study resulting from a research and reflection work of theoretical nature, not being excluded that, in some cases, it may be complemented by an experimental part. The development of this work will be closely monitored by the supervisor and the co-supervisor. Meetings with supervisors will complement the process of writing the thesis.
