- The design and construction of a structured network is the first step in ensuring good network performance. The physical component of a network must be well designed and dimensioned so that the active equipment and software also contribute to this good performance. Its construction is also of significant importance to the project objectives and guides the various tasks to be performed according to "best practices". Additionally, the course includes a practical application of the acquired knowledge, involving the installation and integration of the main active network equipment, namely switches, access points, IP phones and IP cameras, as the final step in the approach to the physical construction of a network infrastructure.
