- The course unit uses theoretical-practical teaching methodologies, emphasizing problem-solving, case studies, guided discussion, brainstorming, practical exercises using decision-support software (MS Excel/Solver) and production system simulation tools. The teaching-learning process is complemented by a group project and the critical analysis of a scientific paper, promoting the integrated application of the acquired knowledge.
- Mandatory

- The UC Production Management aims at an efficient and effective management of the flow of information, materials and products in a business organization, with greater emphasis on industry. The field of action of this discipline is vast, being present in operations, logistics, purchasing management, innovation and development of new products, and mainly in the management of production lines, focusing on the production of new products from of production lines with a high automation weight. These production lines aggregate a multiplicity of systems, among which, inserted in the scope of automation and robotics, which lack an integrated management taking into account the objectives of the organization in which it operates, namely in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, associated with your operations.
