- Semiconductor materials: Conduction in silicon and germanic P-type and N-type semiconductors Semiconductor diodes: PN junction Forward and reverse polarization Half-wave and full-wave rectification Zener diodes Bipolar transistor: Contruction and operation EC, BC, CC mounts EC assembly analysis Switch and amplifier assemblies Field effect transistor: (MOSFET – Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor) Contruction and operation DC, GC, SC mounts Assembly analysis Differential pair The operational amplifier: Ideal operational amplifier (AO) Features of AO Basic assemblies with negative feedback Inverting amplifier/voltage follower Non-inverting amplifier/adder/subtractor Oscillators: Sinusoidal Non-sinusoidal Multivibrator circuits: 555 integrated circuit
- Describe the characteristics of semiconductors.¿ Carry out assemblies with diodes and analyze the circuits. Describe Zéner diodes regarding their constitution, characteristics and applications. Recognize the constitution, types and symbols of the bipolar transistor. Polarize the transistor and understand how it works. Identify the fundamental assemblies: EC, BC, CC. Identify transistor operating zones. Identify polarization types of a MOSFET. Implement circuits with MOSFET. Identify the characteristics of the ideal AO. Identify and carry out basic assemblies with negative feedback. Calculate currents, voltages and gains. Sine Oscillators Non-sinusoidal oscillators

- The objectives are concretized in the syllabus of the different chapters. In addition to resenting the syllabus of the course using diverse resources, we seek to develop the ability to interpret the situations presented, analysis, decision making, calculation methodologies and deductive reasoning. The concepts covered in each chapter through varied strategies provide systematic recourse to real, applied and contextualized circuits and systems. This teaching-learning environment translates into greater motivation and more sustained learning, as it makes it possible to convey the importance of fundamental analogue electronics to the course. Real demonstrations and simulation environments are carried out, as well as practical work to promote student autonomy.
