  • A cycle of conferences, to be held during the semester, with a wide range of interventions in the scientific areas of the study cycle. The selection and organization of the seminars is the responsibility of the UC lecturer with the support of the students.

  • The objectives of this Curricular Unit are as follows: Promote contacts between student organizations and personalities with relevant activities in the areas of Tourism and Hospitality. To develop the student's ability to acquire and deepen their knowledge through presentations in a conference environment. Provide students with a state of the art in Tourism and Hospitality At the end of the course, students should have an up-to-date overview of the main innovation themes in the training area.

  • This UC promotes a wide range of interventions in thematic areas of the study cycle, during which expository and exploratory teaching methods are used. At the end of each conference the lecturer responsible for the session encourages a debate, acting as a facilitator between the students, the speaker and the topic addressed, leading them to take an active part in the presented case study. The evaluation focuses on participation in the sessions and on the achievement of the goals set for the Uc. The students will be evaluated by the presentation of two Position Papers, deepening topics discussed in the conferences. (weighted in the final grade of 50% each).
