Her research interests focus on several aspects of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in a One Health approach, namely the epidemiology of MDR pathogenic bacteria of clinical relevance in veterinary and human medicine, molecular epidemiology studies using metagenomic analysis and the pursuit of novel prophylactic and therapeutic alternatives to the use of antimicrobials.
