- In this curricular unit, the Team-based learning (TBL) methodology is used, with tasks carried out in small groups, allowing the development of the ability to analyze and apply theoretical concepts.

- Understand the concepts and general principles of aseptic techniques; - Know the methods of decontamination, disinfection and sterilization; - Know the different practical ways to develop aseptic techniques in pharmacy and its application in different contexts according to different levels of demand; - To acquire critical thinking in real situations and know that techniques used in each context, promoting global security and the quality of work; - Apply the theoretical knowledge and develop the practice of aseptic techniques in pharmacy context; - Identify the technical conditions (plant and equipment) ideal for the application of these techniques and present, whenever possible, suggestions for improvement andquality; - Organize and manage effectively, the time and resources available within its activity.

dd-mm-yyyy 25% 2º teste teórico dd-mm-yyyy 25% Teste Prático dd-mm-yyyy 50% A classificação final (CF) da unidade curricular por avaliação contínua é obtida a partir das classificações obtidas na componente escrita (T) e na componente prática (PL). A componente Teórica consta de duas frequências escritas e é relativa aos conteúdos teóricos. A classificação mínima em cada frequência é de 8,0 valores. A componente prática consta de 1 momento de avaliação prático realizado durante as aulas laboratoriais. A classificação mínima deste momento é de 10,0 valores. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 PL. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.

- It is intended that at the end of this course, students will have acquired skills of intervention in the planning and structuring of Pharmaceuticals services, combining aspects from quality and safety in handling and preparing galenic formulations to skills and aseptic technique procedures that lead to quality at all stages of manipulation of non-sterile and sterile drugs. The student must be able to effectively organize and manage the time and resources available within the scope of its activity, being sensitive and responsible regarding the high degree of complexity of some activities associated with handling cytotoxic drugs and parenteral nutrition, applying theoretical knowledge and develop the practice of asepsis techniques in the context of hospital pharmacy
