- Develop critical thinking and decision making, based on psychological variables and mechanisms linked to the contexts of sport, physical exercise and well-being. Enhance attitudes, human values and ethics through cognitive, emotional, social and behavioral skills and considering qualities such as: justice, flexibility, truthfulness, persistence, patience, tolerance, respect, joy, optimism; effective communication with active listening and the ability to encourage, trust and be happy for the successes of others; do not focus on error; awareness of the difference between pride and encouragement and the importance of cooperating without judgment; promoting unity in diversity.

Coach-athlete-family relationship. Sports performance. Understanding exercise behavior and its relationship with inactivity problems and non-adherence to physical activity. D. - O discente transita em avaliação contínua, quando obtém com nota maior ou igual a 9,5 valores.

Avaliação final - Exame:
Final da avaliação contínua com nota inferior a 9,5 valores.
Classificação entre 8 e 9 valores, na prova escrita de exame, dá acesso à prova oral de exame (alínea d), ponto 5, artigo 12).
O teste teórico e a prova oral contemplam todos os conteúdos.
Exame de Recurso e/ou Especial: contemplam todos os conteúdos.

- The Curricular Psychology Unit for Sports pretend to empower the students with scientific and scientific knowledge on the areas of Sports, Physical Education and Exercise and Well-Being. Relevance: understanding of external and internal factors that influence the thoughts, emotions and performances of the protagonists in these areas, leading to an optimized professional intervention. Distinctive mark: introduction to Neurolinguistic Programming and Neurolinguistic Coaching; contribute to the creation of a scientific culture based on humanism that is not self-knowledge and, in constructive human relationships. Purpose: potentiate as learning carried out within the study cycle; their application to the professional context.
