- This course operates on a seminar format, combining group discussion sessions with individual tutorial guidance. In each group session, one or more master's students present the status of their project, submitting it to critical discussion by the class and professors-a method that replicates, in a controlled environment, the dynamics of public presentation and defense of research. Individual tutorial guidance allows for close and personalized monitoring, adjusted to the pace and specific needs of each aspect of the drawing area. Continuous documentation of the work process is also encouraged (through graphic diaries, digital portfolios, or other records), which serves simultaneously as working material for writing and as an object of critical reflection in seminars.
- Mandatory
- To accompany and support the student in the conception, structuring, and progressive development of their Dissertation or Final Project, ensuring a coherent articulation between theoretical research and artistic or technical practice in Drawing. To consolidate the definition of the object of study, the research question, and the methodology appropriate to each student's work. To develop the ability to structure and write the different sections of the Dissertation/Project (introduction, theoretical framework, methodology, project development, conclusions). To present and publicly discuss the progress of the research, constructively receiving and integrating criticism from peers and professors. To critically and reflectively articulate the documentation of the artistic and technical process with the written discourse of the research.
- 1. Project Definition - Research question and object of study within Scientific Drawing, Illustration, Digital Drawing or Artistic Drawing. Literature review and state of the art. 2. Structure and Writing - Dissertation/Project structure; academic writing applied to discourse on artistic practice; articulation between text and visual documentation. 3. Project Development - Individual tutorial supervision of practical/technical work and its documentation; interim progress presentations with collective discussion. 4. Finalisation - Critical revision and editing of the final document; preparation for the public defence.

- Semestral
- This course unit provides direct support for the development of the Master's Dissertation or Final Project in Drawing, in its various aspects. In a seminar format, each master's student develops their research project individually, with close tutorial support and regular group discussions on the progress of each stage, in an environment that combines guidance from their respective supervisors with critical peer review.
