- The teaching team provides guidance to students throughout the development of their research projects, ensuring they conduct work that enables the collection of relevant information and the publication of the results obtained. The innovative methodologies introduced are: Problem-Based Learning (PBL) - starting from an identified real-world problem, students are challenged to formulate research questions, select methods, and generate evidence to address the problem. Project-Based Learning - the course unit is organized around a research project developed over the semester, featuring progressive deliverables that integrate all phases of the project's development.
- Mandatory
- The objectives of the unit are that the student to be able to: Identify reasonably well-defined problems; Design methodologies; Formulate hypotheses; Analyze information based on conceptual frameworks; Conduct research using specific references; Critically evaluate results; Systematize information; Demonstrate linguistic rigor and correctness; Demonstrate clarity of reasoning and presentation; Demonstrate the practical applicability of the results obtained; Deliver a well-prepared project presentation, in both written and oral formats.
- Conclusion of the monograph/research report. Presentation and discussion of the results obtained. Preparation of the research report to disseminate the results obtained. Submission process for publication as an article. Submission process for presentation at a scientific event.

- This unit as the puerpose of the development of students' critical thinking skills, enabling them to complete the empirical phase of the research project and consolidate the discussion and final presentation of the results. The aim is for the research conducted to be prepared for submission to and publication in scientific journals, as well as for presentation at scientific events in various formats.
