- Information Systems today play a fundamental role in Organizations. So it is It is essential that everyone has the knowledge that allows them to use the Systems in a way that them to take away their full potential. This UC aims to provide students with skills that allow them to use Information to its maximum potential, as well as understanding what types of systems should be used for each desired solution, and be able to participate in their selection and management. A great emphasis will be placed on the practical use of "Office" productivity tools, in special in the field of the potential of Spreadsheets and Databases, even for the production of macros that make it possible to analyze and process the information contained, through the use of the programming languages ¿¿visual basic and sql respectively.

- Students are expected to develop the following skills: Understand the growing importance of Information Systems in organizations, in all areas of management. Learn how to use Information Systems to streamline administrative processes in organizations. Know the main types of Business Systems, especially the modules of internal processes of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) and SCM (Supply Chain Management). Learn how to use Office Productivity Tools, especially Microsoft Excel. Know the main existing Business Intelligence solutions, especially systems based on Datawarehouse, OLap and Datamining. Know the latest Mobile and Cloud based solutions for the enterprises. Learn to deploy and manage security policies in information systems.

- Methodology: The expository methodology is used, alternating with practical hands-on exercises and case studies. Students are encouraged to investigate related topics and prepare presentations with the results of the research. Evaluation: Individual final written test: 35% Completed at the end of the semester and containing the entire subject matter. - Expository Teaching Methodologies and Self-study: the acquisition of knowledge will be measured through an attendance. Participatory and Active Teaching Methodologies: the development of skills will be measured through group resolution, presentation and discussion of case studies/practical exercises in class. Continuous Evaluation The weighting coefficients in calculating the final grade will be as follows: Frequency (individual written test) - 35%; Elaboration of a group work and respective oral presentation - 50%; Participation in academic activities - 15% Comments: Mandatory minimum score of 8 values ¿¿in each evaluation element Students with a final grade equal to or greater than 10 are approved. In case of failure, Students will have access to the evaluation in exam, appeal and special periods, depending on the classification of each one. Study of basic issues of financial management, study of profitability, economic and financial balance, risk and cost of capital. It seeks to apply to concrete business situations. It is advisable to use a computer with a model for analyzing indicators and ratios, enabling continuous study and the construction of group work.
