- The curricular unit is theoretical-practical in nature, developing into theoretical and practical classes that are articulated and aim to promote the student's knowledge and immediate application of theoretical concepts and skills in real practical contexts. 2nd The contents and evaluation are articulated, presenting an equivalent weight in the final evaluation. 3rd The contents cover the different stages of developing a market study, focusing on the appropriate design of the data collection methodology, as well as its implementation, with a view to responding to the objectives defined for the study.

- The discipline of Marketing aims to introduce students to one of the main pillars of organisational management, providing a comprehensive view of the concepts that guide marketing and endomarketing. It demonstrates how these areas holistically integrate into the different functional areas of the company, including human resources management. Furthermore, it provides a theoretical and practical basis for students to understand and debate current marketing and endomarketing topics, highlighting the importance of people management in internal marketing. The subject also stimulates students' critical sense concerning marketing interfaces with the economy, strategy, technology, culture, ethics and socio-environmental responsibility when developing strategic marketing planning.

- In this course, the Team-based Learning (TBL) methodology is used, with tasks being carried out in small groups, allowing the development of analytical skills and the application of theoretical concepts. Study visits to clinical services in the area of ¿¿the respective module should be promoted. The course is divided into 3 independent modules (Radiology, Radiotherapy, and Nuclear Medicine). In each module, the student is subject to an assessment instrument (written test or assignment/report, with oral presentation), with a minimum grade of 9.5 points. The final grade for the course corresponds to the weighted average of the grades of the 3 modules. Passing the course can also be obtained through a final written exam.

Os temas dos trabalhos/relatórios são apresentados aos alunos pelo respetivo docente. Se se justificar, pode ser considerada a realização de mais do que 1 instrumento de avaliação em cada módulo, sendo que nesse caso a nota mínima por momento de avaliação é de 8,0 valores e a nota mínima final de cada módulo de 9,5 valores.

- The Curricular Unit (C.U.) Integração à Imagem Médica e Radioterapia I represent the students first contact with the core areas of this study cycle - Radiology, Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine – and with the respective professional activities. This C.U. intends to present the basics of these heath technology areas, which will be future linked with the syllabus of all the specific C.U. from Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Sciences of this degree. On this C.U., teachers will provide the history of those professions, the role of Radiographers, Radiotherapists and Nuclear Medicine Technologists, as well as the fundamental concepts that will allow students to understand the applications of ionizing radiation to the clinical practice, both for diagnosis and treatment of several type of pathologies.
