- The teaching methodologies are based on two strands, namely: (1) Theoretical sessions - where the fundamental concepts are transmitted and that may be complemented with laboratory classes; (2) Theoretical-practical sessions lasting four hours, in which teaching has a practical orientation, with the use of computational tools (e.g. OPTNET, PACKET TRACER), promoting the discussion of results among students; The evaluation is composed by a theoretical test of knowledge (50% of the final grade) and by a set of practical laboratory works (50% of the final grade).

- LO1 - Understand the challenges and problems inherent in the planning of IT infrastructures; LO2 - Understand the methodologies for planning IT infrastructures; LO3 - Understand the main technologies and know how to use tools in the context of planning IT infrastructures; LO4 - Design, develop and draw conclusions through experimentation, in the face of a problem, considering scenarios and experimental conditions and the appropriate selection of tools.

- This Curricular Unit is taught with the aim of imparting knowledge to students, namely about how computer networks work, that is, how a machine manages to send information to another that is inserted in the same network, and how different networks can communicate with each other. The way in which information is exchanged between different applications and/or computers will also be covered in this curricular unit. It will also be approached, and in an introductory context, some equipment and technologies, usually used in computer networks, including protocols, services and applications, in turn related to the most diverse services.

- A metodologia articula exposição teórica, análise de casos e discussão crítica, explorando relações entre contextos históricos, práticas artísticas e debates contemporâneos. As aulas integram momentos de observação de obras, leitura orientada, diálogos coletivos e exercícios de pesquisa que incentivam a construção de argumentos e a participação ativa. A abordagem anacrónica permite cruzar épocas e problemáticas, estimulando comparações, interpretações e posicionamentos próprios. O acompanhamento tutorial apoia o desenvolvimento dos projetos e das investigações, promovendo autonomia conceptual e rigor metodológico. Sempre que possível, visitas, encontros com artistas ou recursos digitais ampliam o contacto com práticas reais. A metodologia privilegia a articulação entre teoria e prática, a reflexão crítica e a capacidade de situar a produção artística em ambientes culturais, políticos e tecnológicos complexos.

- Consolidar a capacidade de relacionar práticas artísticas contemporâneas com genealogias históricas em perspetiva anacrónica. Interpretar movimentos artísticos dos séculos XX e XXI, identificando permanências, ruturas e reconfigurações formais, conceptuais e políticas. Desenvolver autonomia metodológica na análise de obras, arquivos, processos e discursos artísticos, integrando pesquisa teórica, reflexão e experimentação. Compreender o impacto das tecnologias, dos media e das transformações socioculturais na produção artística recente, articulando questões de identidade, ecologia, globalização e política. Fortalecer capacidades de comunicação, síntese e argumentação, através da apresentação pública, discussão crítica e elaboração de documentos de investigação. Promover um pensamento interdisciplinar capaz de situar práticas artísticas num ecossistema expandido de referências culturais, tecnológicas e sociais.
- O programa aborda movimentos e problemáticas fundamentais da arte desde meados do século XX até ao presente, explorando transformações conceptuais e tecnológicas que redefinem a prática contemporânea. São estudadas abordagens minimalistas e a ativação do espaço do observador; a desmaterialização promovida pela Arte Conceptual e a centralidade da ideia; a performance enquanto espaço de fricção entre corpo, política e experiência. Analisam¿se ainda pluralidades pós¿modernas, revisões críticas da história e processos de globalização. Abordam¿se debates sobre identidade, género, colonialidade, ecologias e ética da representação. Explora¿se o impacto das tecnologias da imagem - vídeo, fotografia, dispositivos digitais - e discute¿se a condição pós¿medium, práticas contextuais, espaço público, ativismo e sustentabilidade. O objetivo é articular estas problemáticas numa leitura transversal que revele linhas de continuidade e tensão no campo artístico.
A avaliação é composta por três elementos que integram investigação, análise crítica e prática artística:

40% - Apresentação temática
Exposição oral de um tema ou problema derivado do programa, apoiada em pesquisa autónoma (desdobramentos teóricos, casos de estudo, reflexão crítica). Avalia¿se capacidade de contextualização, síntese, clareza conceptual e formulação de problemáticas. -
50% - Trabalho final prático
Desenvolvimento de um projeto artístico acompanhado de dossier de projeto e relatório escrito que explicite conceitos, métodos, referências e escolhas formais. Avalia¿se coerência conceptual, rigor metodológico, experimentação e qualidade da apresentação. -
10% - Avaliação contínua
Considera assiduidade mínima (75% de presenças), participação, pontualidade e envolvimento no trabalho ao longo do semestre.

A classificação final (CF) da unidade curricular por avaliação contínua é obtida a partir das classificações obtidas na componente teórica (T). A avaliação consta da realização de duas frequências. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 T. A classificação mínima em cada frequência teórica é de 8 valores. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas em cada componente, tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.

The syllabus includes a characterization of our health system, epidemiology, how individuals' socioeconomics influence health services, global health, disease prevention and awareness of the population at risk. This curricular unit explores the ways in which health professionals of care and diagnostic areas relate and are affected by the public health system in Portugal and Europe.
