  • Students use Postgres as their SGDB, which offers advanced and modern functionalities in the Database area. Through a methodology aimed at problem solving and also focused on project development, students consolidate the content acquired.

    O TP1 consiste em: descrição do tema, modelo conceptual, conversão para o modelo relacional e esquema relacional normalizado.
    O TP2 consiste em: esquema dos dados em SQL, carregamento dos dados, elaboração de perguntas, desenvolvimento de store procedures e triggers.
    O teste de avaliação inclui toda a matéria leccionada.

  • Databases are part of Information Systems and are used in most computer applications we use daily. Additionally, the value we attribute to data is increasing and decisions are increasingly driven by the analysis of stored data. The Database course unit aims to provide the student with the fundamental knowledge of how to store data in a structured, non-redundant manner and perform data processing to obtain information. Understanding these concepts allows us to define how to structure data in order to guide the development of an application. This course is fundamental in the study cycle and is complemented by the course Web Programming, in which a web application consisting of a database is developed.

  • Teaching will be carried out through the expository method and the dialectical method for confrontation with and between students, with regard to sensitive points of the matter, such as the discussion of rhetorical arguments, which may imply the use of values that are relevant to each people. In addition, there will be a demonstration of the practical use of Rhetoric and Argumentation with the use of texts and videos. Assessment is continuous, in the classroom, where students' behavior and knowledge are constantly evaluated. In addition, there will be two written tests to be evalueted and two pratical exercices to be evalueted too.

  • The UC aims to provide students with theoretical-practical knowledge in the rhetorical and argumentative scope. In this way, students, at the end of the course, should be able to elaborate a speech on their own in the various possible ways and present it publicly and using the discursive, vocal and scenic techniques transmitted.

  • This UC aims to introduce students to Rhetoric and Argumentation, as tools for work and daily use in communicational practice, whether forensic, academic, judicial, business, etc... These areas are fundamental for the performance of any professional in any legal profession, the future of our students. In this way, with the tools provided by the UC, your oral and written performance will certainly be more careful and effective, whether in the procedural scope, whether in the negotiating, demonstrative and argumentative scopes. In addition, the UC becomes relevant as it will allow students to more easily problematize any subject and also respond in an argumentative way on any legal issue.

  • General Learning Objectives: Relate theoretical knowledge: analyse, categorize and compare the contents of this subject. Know the specificities of a research anchored to anthropology as a field of study. Understand the mode of existence of the urban space and the functioning of the networks that constitute it. Stimulate the critical reflection on contemporaneity.   Expected outcomes (indicators): Develop skills in scientific research: identification, selection, justification and validation of ideas. Identify concepts in reference works and develop further readings. Essay writing, scientifically anchored and parameterized according to academic standards. Realize experiences in visual illustrations (scale models and/or drawings). Critically discuss the contemporaneity, correlating the acquired knowledge. Apply knowledge and anthropological tools in transdisciplinary research projects.

  • Curricular unit that aims to gather scientific knowledge and ethnographic techniques that allow the identification and analysis of contemporary representations of Space. The programmatic contents were selected in order to cover the mutations, contexts and dynamics that compose Space as a field: from macroprocesses, such as globalization and generalized acceleration, to microrelations, such as the heterotopic and the particular, and thus considering pressing issues such as climate change. It promotes the analysis and reflection on the local and translocal processes that address contemporaneity, along with the seminal impulses that actively contributed to the real and symbolic construction of space.

  • Methodology: TM 1: In the expository teaching methodology, the various contents of the program are exposed and explained. TM 2: In the discussion of cases in classes, real situations will be used to exemplify how to apply the tools taught. There will be in-person or distance classes, where students will present their group work, suggesting the constitution of working groups. The group work will, at the end, be the object of an oral presentation (in person or at a distance) with criticism by the teacher.
