- In this curricular unit, the Team-based learning (TBL) methodology is used, with tasks carried out in small groups, allowing the development of the ability to analyze and apply theoretical concepts.

- The objectives of the Atomic and Nuclear Physics course unit are to introduce and develop concepts of physics, at the atomic level and of the nuclear interactions that originate radiation. It is intended that students acquire knowledge regarding the atomic structure, the molecular organization of elements, the emission of X-rays and other types of electromagnetic radiation, radioactivity and the interaction of radiation with matter and that this knowledge allows for a more solid and grounded learning in the structures and interactions that originate radiation and the interactions of radiation with living organisms. In the end, the student should be able to identify situations of interdisciplinary Physics with other scientific-technological areas such as physiology and new diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and apply the acquired concepts, interpret and solve situations related to the profession.

A componente prática consta da realização de um trabalho durante as aulas. A classificação mínima no trabalho prático é de 10 valores. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 PL. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas em cada componente tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores, para efeitos de cálculo da classificação final.

- Physics is one of the fundamental areas of science. The understanding of the phenomena that occur at the atomic and nuclear level is essential for studies in Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy, since these are the basis for the techniques applied in this area. The Atomic and Nuclear Physics Course aims to provide students with the foundations that allow them to understand radiation and its origin, as well as its interaction with matter and the effects it causes.

- The teaching methods are based on the exhibition methods, demonstrative and interrogative to generate a discussion in class context with the use of literature, parts/anatomical models and anatomical 3D software. The unit can be affected by continuous assessment or final evaluation. The final classification (FC) curricular unit for continuous evaluation is obtained from the marks obtained in the written component (T) and the practical component (PL). The written component consists of two written tests and is on theoretical a practical content. The minimum grade in each frequency is 8 values. The laboratory component consists of two moments of the practical assessment conducted during the pratical classes, must be equal to or greater than 9.5. The final grade is calculated from the following formula: CF = 0.50 T + 0.50 PL. The classification of all assessment instruments is expressed on a scale of 0 to 20, and the weighted value of the marks obtained must be equal or greater than 9.5.

- - Transmit a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of the morphology and function of the components when observed macroscopically by palpation technique. - Identify, understand and describe the constituent anatomical structures of the musculoskeletal system through palpation and analyze their tissue consistency. - To know the general principles of touch physiology and terminology used in the description of stimuli captured by touch, stimulating the ability to observe and provide description techniques and diagnostics. - Relate the shape of anatomical structures to their function. - Know normal macroscopic structure and operation of the locomotor system (osteology, arthrology and myology). - To acquire a knowledge base that can be used in various fields of morphophysiology and later applied in other courses of ongoing and future clinical practice. - Integrating the specificity of each anatomical system in the unity of the human body.

- The expository method will be used in theoretical classes with collective participation in the (re) construction of concepts and in the analysis of varied information. In practical classes, the development of reflections, presentation and discussion before the collective, in synthesis work with practical cases. Regarding the continuous assessment regime, the following methods will be used: Written Work (30%); Final frequency (40%). In the evaluation system by final exam, the final grade to be attributed to the student corresponds to the grade obtained in the respective Final Exam.

- The competitiveness between destinations, in particular, among those that offer the same typology of tourist products, means that the formatting of the offer and the tourist attraction capacity must be rethought for each destination. The innovation of existing tourism products, as well as the inclusion of new ways of doing tourism, must be taken into account by tour operators at destinations. The innovation and creation of new tourism and hotel products must be based on examples related to successful national and international practices, in order to identify facilitating factors and obstacles arising from their adaptation to each territory and its cultural heritage. This CU is related to Territory, Heritage and Local Communities (CU - 1st year, 1st semester) in which the student, among other objectives, interprets the various aspects of heritage present in the territories.
