- A Metodologia Ativa promove a participação, a pesquisa autónoma e a colaboração, desenvolvendo competências como comunicação, trabalho em equipa e pensamento crítico. Inclui discussões, análises de casos e aplicação prática de conceitos. Inspirada na Pedagogia da Autonomia de Paulo Freire (1996), valoriza a formação crítica e emancipatória, ao priorizar o diálogo, o respeito pela diversidade e a contextualização social. Visa a construção coletiva do conhecimento, reconhecendo saberes prévios e promovendo autonomia para decisões responsáveis. Para atingir os objetivos, será adotada a abordagem de Aula Invertida (Flipped Classroom), disponibilizando textos previamente, de modo a permitir debates e atividades como: Leitura e Discussão Orientada, Exibição de obras multimédia seguidas de debates e Estudos de Caso.

- No final do semestre, os/as alunos/as deverão adquirir competências nas seguintes áreas: Consolidar a leitura e interpretação crítica de uma imagem. Interpretar a relação de contiguidade entre Signo, Significante e Significado. Compreender a emergência de novas vozes e perspectivas na prática artística, como os Feminismos ,discursos Queer e Pós-Colonial. Analisar o contexto Português do pós-25 de Abril de 1974, a partir do surgimento de um sistema artístico em Portugal e da exposição "Alternativa Zero". Identificar e analisar discursos nos Estudos de Multimédia, a fim de refletir criticamente sobre as relações de poder e a formação identitária. Desenvolver competências analíticas para interpretar e desconstruir narrativas multimédias com ênfase na inclusão social. Produzir análises reflexivas sobre obras multimédias, de modo a aplicar as teorias de forma oral e escrita.
- 1.Cultura Visual e Digital: principais quadros teóricos e críticos. 1.1 Produção e recepção de imagens na era pós-digital: evolução do conceito de imagem (do analógico ao digital); representação, imitação e simulação. 1.2 Semiótica da imagem e iconologia: análise estrutural e simbólica das imagens. 2. Identidades e Representação na Pós-Modernidade e Pós-Colonialismo. 2.1 Feminismo, Queer e Pós-Colonialismo: novas vozes e resistências discursivas. 2.2 Identidade e sistema artístico no contexto português pós-25 de Abril: a exposição "Alternativa Zero". 3.Criação Multimédia na Contemporaneidade. 3.1 Contexto artístico em Portugal e no mundo: exemplos destacados como Helena Almeida, Alberto Carneiro, Ernesto de Sousa, Grada Kilomba, Joseph Beuys, Ana Mendieta, Shirin Neshat, Ai Weiwei e Denilson Baniwa. 3.2 Cultura Visual e Digital enquanto campo transdisciplinar: políticas de imagem e interpretação crítica com base em Sontag, Dubois, Didi-Huberman e Rancière.
A avaliação será realizada de forma contínua, combinando diferentes tipos de atividades e instrumentos para monitorizar o progresso dos/das estudantes:
A1 (50%) 2 Exercícios (Debates orais, relatório escrito, ensaio visual)*
A2 (40%) Teste escrito sobre os conteúdos programáticos.
A3 (10%) Avaliação contínua, intercalar e final com critérios de assiduidade (75% de presenças), participação e pontualidade.
*No início de cada ano letivo, é disponibilizada aos/às estudantes a especificação dos exercícios de avaliação (A1), assim como os respetivos critérios específicos, ajustados às particularidades da agenda cultural nacional. Este processo visa integrar nas aprendizagens o contacto direto com eventos artísticos, especialistas e/ou artistas.
A planificação das aulas, bem como a respetiva avaliação, será definida a partir deste princípio de integração do contacto direto com a realidade artística. O relatório a ser entregue nesta unidade curricular poderá assumir diferentes formatos: redigido em aula com consulta, estudo de caso sobre uma temática, relatório referente a uma visita de estudo e/ou uma conferência.

- In this curricular unit, the Team-based learning (TBL) methodology is used, with tasks carried out in small groups, allowing the development of the ability to analyze and apply theoretical concepts

- From the theoretical point of view students should be able to use the tools of Organic Chemistry for the synthesis of drugs and those of the analytical methods of drugs. They must also know the determining parameters in the establishment of structure-activity relations. For each drug example, the type of pharmacokinetic profile presented should be predicted: absorption and distribution based on lipophilicity, metabolism and excretion based on the structure and also know the respective pharmacodynamic profile always in view of the target site duality, therapeutic objective. From a practical point of view, students should gather knowledge of organic synthesis with respect to laboratory practice and be able to apply their theoretical knowledge in the development of new drug synthesis pathways, nd erspective qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Program contents: Introduction and general concepts. 1. Structure and chemical bond of organic molecules. 2. Constitution of organic molecules: functional groups, nomenclature and isomerism. 3. Reactivity, mechanistic and kinetic aspects. Pharmacological targets: structure and function. 1. Proteins, enzymes, receptors, and nucleic acids. Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. 1. Absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs (ADME). Discovery, design and development of drugs. 1. Discovery of drugs: identification of the prototype. 2. Pharmaceuticals Design: optimization of target access and interactions with the therapeutic target. Computational Chemistry. Quantitative structure-activity relations (QSAR) Selected Topics in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. 1. Antibacterial agents. 2. Antiviral agents. 3. Anticancer agents. 4. Cholinergic, anticholinergics, and anticholinesterases. 5. Drugs that act on the adrenergic nervous system. 6. Opioid analgesics. 7. Antiulcer agents.
A componente teórica( T) consta de duas frequências escritas relativas aos conteúdos teóricos. A componente teórico-prática (TP) baseia-se numa aprendizagem ativa, com a análise de artigos cientificos e a Prática laboratorial( PL) na apresentação e discussão de cadernos. A classificação mínima de cada momento de avaliação é de 8 valores sendo a classificação final da T, TP e PL igual ou superior a 9,5 valores. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,60 T + 0,25 TP+ 0,15 PL . A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.

- It is intended to provide the necessary foundations for the interpretation of the representation of organic compounds and identification of functional groups, with particular focus on those most frequently found in drugs and biomolecules. It is also intended to provide the necessary basis for understanding the discovery, design and development of drugs, structure and function of pharmacological targets, and the concepts of pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSAR), use of computational chemistry and some classes of drugs with application in pharmaceutical chemistry. Students should be able to use Applied Chemistry tools for drug synthesis and Methods for drug analysis. They must know the parameters of the QSAR establishment, predict the type of pharmacokinetic profile and pharmacodynamic profile and, in practical classes, they must gather knowledge of organic synthesis and analytical methods.

- The teaching methodology will alternate between expository and demonstrative approaches. The expository method will take place in class, covering the various phases and crucial moments of audiovisual production, while the demonstrative method will be carried out by the students with the guidance of the instructor. Methodologies will be applied to promote collaboration in teams through online learning platforms, encouraging group work and the exchange of feedback. Additionally, a model will be adopted that combines in-person teaching with digital resources, allowing students to access theoretical content and complementary materials.
