  • The UC Introduction to Public Administration and Management aims to provide students with knowledge and mastery cross-cutting the framework and treatment of the main issues raised in the initial framework of the study of Public Administration and Public Management.   • During the semester will be used the methodologies of expository and active teaching in face-to-face teaching approaches (synchronous) and complementarily of study by the students, in e-learning regime (asynchronous) in Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

  • Be able to perceive and determine the security environment in information systems. Understand and define access control policies. Understand the role of cryptography in information security. Understand and apply some safety standards. Develop and implement security plans and policies. Review and advise in terms of information security in certain scenarios under analysis. Establish policies and procedures to manage security incidents. Understand the problems of software development and the security aspects of them.

    Nota inferior a 8 valores numa das componentes (prática ou teórica) será a nota final da disciplina com reprovação.

    Para a realização do trabalho final de aplicação será disponibilizado um caso de estudo para elaboração de um plano de segurança, que será analisado nas aulas práticas e desenvolvido e apresentado posteriormente. Serão também realizados exercícios práticos de técnicas e modelação de criptografia e criptanálise e de monitorização e de análise de vulnerabilidades.

  • The discipline aims to help students to know the basics of security and the different aspects related to them. It addresses the security aspects of Information Systems in general and in particular in enterprises, including from the point of view of storing, accessing and transferring data over data networks, as well as developing security and recovery plans and analysis of vulnerabilities, attacks and intrusions. This knowledge is reinforced by the approach and analysis of various exercises of application and preparation of practical work of application.

  • - Mastering the basics of botany required to recognize the characteristics of medicinal plants most commonly used in the West and in the East. - Know the stages of production of raw materials for applications in plant health. - Know the pharmaceutics processing techniques of plants for medicinal purposes in accordance with EU Pharmacopoeias, USA and China. - Understanding the (phyto) chemical nature of herbs and its relationship with the biogenesis and botanical name. - To relate the composition of a formulation according to the type of physical-chemical processing. - Linking the physiological and / or therapeutic effect of each plant / plant part depending on the characteristics phytochemical - Know about general criteria for assessing the quality, safety and efficacy in the Dispensary. - Familiarize with the Herbaria.

    A classificação final (CF) da unidade curricular por avaliação contínua é obtida a partir das classificações obtidas na componente escrita (T) e na componente prática (PL). A componente escrita consta de duas frequências escritas e é relativa aos conteúdos teóricos. A classificação mínima em cada frequência é de 8 valores. A componente prática consta de 2 momentos de avaliação práticos (Caderno Laboratorial e Teste Prático realizados durante as aulas práticas. Cada um destes momentos a classificação mínima é de 8 valores. A classificação final tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores  A classificação final é calculada apartir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 PL. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valorponderado das classificações obtidas tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.
