  • This unit aims to obtain skills in the areas of materials, technologies and test and measurement equipment. The fundamental concepts of Metrology are taught, through a strong practical/laboratory component, Thus, and because it is a unit where general/fundamental, theoretical and practical principles are taught, it will serve as the basis for all further curricular developments. The key skills to be developed are: Familiarization with the materials and components used in Electrical Engineering, and with the concepts of Metrology; Knowledge of component manufacturing technologies, their ranges, precisions and tolerances; Familiarization with typical test equipment in the area: multimeters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc; Familiarization with laboratory techniques and procedures;
  • Fundamental Concepts and International Vocabulary of Metrology - System (VIM); Elementary definitions of error, uncertainty, units and patterns, presentation of results; Elementary physical nodes: Resistances, nominal value, variation, tolerance, Joule's law and power dissipation; Star-triangle transformation; Resistive sensors; Power supplies (association of sources); Typical elementary circuits, voltage and current dividers; Kirchhoff laws; Alternating quantities/current Measurement Systems and Methods. Measuring Instruments; Static Response; Sensitivity; Gain; Resolution; Linearity; Nominal Range; Zero drift; Hysteresis; General characteristics of instruments. Identification and symbology of instruments Increased measurement range of a measuring apparatus.   • A metodologia de ensino reparte-se pelas vertentes Teórica, Exercícios e Trabalhos Laboratoriais.


    Avaliação Continua:

    É constituida por 2 Provas Teóricas (PT) e Trabalhos de Laboratório (TL).
    Sendo a Nota de Final Frequência dada por: NF = (0,5 x PT) + (0,5 x TL), com PT = 10 Valores, TL = 10 Valores.

    Faz-se a ressalva que, a aprovação na avaliação continua só é possível se a média obtida nas duas provas escritas for superior ou igual a 10 valores sendo que em nenhuma delas o aluno pode ter nota inferior a 8 valores.

    Entrega de Relatórios
    Os relatórios dos trabalhos laboratoriais devem ser entregues, através da plataforma moodle, até quinze dias após a data de conclusão definida para a sua realização e estarão sujeitos a avaliação oral.


    Exame de recurso :

    Se o aluno não obtiver aprovação em avaliação contínua, terá acesso a um exame composto por componentes Teórica (peso de 50%) e Prática (peso de 50%). Sendo valorizada na avaliação por exame a componente prática da avaliação continua com aprovação.

    Nota:

  • The scope of this course includes the study of materials, technologies and test equipment used in Electrical Engineering. The fundamental concepts of Metrology are also taught, with corresponding practical application, through a strong laboratory component. The need to use Metrology thus arises naturally throughout the work developed. This curricular unit is a subject that will serve as a basis for all further curricular developments.

    - As presenças deverão corresponder a 75% das aulas lecionadas. Um número de faltas superior a 25%, do total das aulas letivas, implica a reprovação na unidade curricular.

    - Exame de 2ª época e Época especial: Entrega de projeto com as mesmas características e condições do ano lectivo (60%), mais teste (40%). Exige inscrição prévia ao exame. O projeto é individual. Para mais informações consultar o regulamento do IPLUSO. 

    - A entrega final dos projetos, é obrigatória na data estipulada;

    - A falta injustificada implica a reprovação na disciplina;

    - A falta em mais que uma avaliação intercalar implica a exclusão da avaliação contínua;

    - O projeto deve ser elaborado em grupo de 2 alunos ou individual. A nota individual terá em linha de conta a participação em sala, bem como o relatório de autoavaliação. As percentagens definidas no relato¿rio serão vertidas na nota individual conforme a seguinte fo¿rmula: (nota do projeto)x(percentagem de participac¿a¿o)x(nº de alunos por grupo)/100, sendo que a nota individual no ma¿ximo superior a 1V da nota de projeto de grupo.

  • A aquisição de conhecimentos será aferida através de um teste de avaliação. O desenvolvimento de competências será aferido através da realização, apresentação, e da discussão de um trabalho de grupo ou individual, bem como a participação e trabalhos contínuos. Os coeficientes de ponderação no cálculo da nota final são os seguintes: Teste: 40%; Trabalho de grupo ou individual: 30%; Participação e trabalhos contínuos: 30%.

    Notas:

    1. Serão aprovados os alunos que tiverem nota final igual ou superior a 10 valores nos elementos de avaliação contínua acima indicados.

    2. Caso não sejam aprovados, terão de efetuar um exame e, no caso de não aprovação neste, poderão realizar exame de recurso.

  • Develop and foster a learning dynamic, functional and detailed of human body structure and morphology of the systems: respiratory, digestive, circulatory, genitourinary, lymphatic, and the sense organs. Transmit a full and detailed knowledge of the morphology of the organs and the human body structure. Integrate knowledge gained in the curricular units: Cell Biology, Neurophysiology and Anatomy and Physiology I. Identify, interpret and describe the constituent anatomical structures of the human body, using appropriate terminology. Relate the shape of anatomical structures to their function. Acquire a basic knowledge of special physiology and understand the articulation of different homeostatic element in the operation and regulation of certain specific bodily functions. Integrating the specificity of each anatomical system in the unity of the human body.

    A componente teórica consta de duas frequências escritas. A classificação mínima em cada frequência é de 8 valores. A componente teórico-prática consta de 1 momento de avaliação teórico, devendo ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores. A componente prática consta de 3 momentos de avaliação, devendo a classificação mínima em cada frequência ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF=0,40T+0,20TP+0,40PL. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, tendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas em cada componente de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.

It is intimately qualified with embryology, comparative anatomy, evolutionary biology and phylogeny. Human anatomy is considered one of the essential sciences of health science courses. Anatomy is divided into two areas: macroscopic anatomy and microscopic anatomy. Physiology is the study of the functioning of various organ systems, that is, explains how biomolecules, such as cells, tissues, organs and organ systems. Human physiology attempts to understand the mechanical, physical and biochemical mechanisms that keep the human body alive.

  • Students will be asked to develop work guides on the implementation of engineering concepts on currently used platforms.   Whenever possible, working groups will create web apps for team management tools and platforms, service desk, version control, customer/stakeholder relations, and more.     Students will be asked to compare, through use and analysis, the performance improvements achieved by using "LINT" tools in programming tasks.

  • A avaliação ( NF - nota final) é composta por uma prova teórica de aferição dos conhecimentos ( AC que vale 50% da nota final), pela apresentação de um projeto de aluno ( PR que vale 40 % da nota final) e pela assiduidade e participação nas aulas ( AP que vale 10% da avaliação final).
    Ou seja, a nota final será calculada da seguinte forma:

    NF = 0.5 x AC + 0.4 x PR. + 0.1 x AP.

    Para ser aprovado à disciplina, para além de atingir uma nota final mínima de 9.5, o aluno tem de satisfazer os 2 seguintes critérios:

    1.  Nota mínima do projeto PR, superior ou igual a 9.5.
    2.  Nota mínima do teste de avaliação AC, superior ou igual a 8.0.
