  • The teaching method is based fundamentally on the practical component. However, in the approach of each new chapter is always carried out a theoretical presentation that incorporates the new concepts which will be explored at a later stage in the context of the case study. Available to students between 17 and 20 practical cases (2 to 3 per chapter) that will be studied and resolved in mentioned practical lessons.

  • Basically, it is intended that students learn the main outputs that may be generated by cost accounting, or analytical, (results by functions, by products, by activities, by markets, operating costs of organic units/cost centres...) to how they are obtained and their importance to decision makers. Important that students understand the full practical component relating to the application of the concepts of the cost accounting system and the interface with financial accounting.

Actual or theoretical share of expenditure manufacturing generals. 4. The production regimes and the necessary adaptation of the accounting process. Joint production, direct and indirect method, production in manufacturing paths. 5. The method of cost centres. 6.Cost assessment systems. Total, variable, rational, real or pre-defenced cost cost. 7.The Balanced Scorecard.

  • The UC aims at the conceptual study and practical application of cost accounting or analytics in an enterprise and is a subsystem of the management information and control system. Its scope is the economic structure of an organization, identifying the segments (products, services, organic units, etc..) who create value and those who have a negative contribution. It has thus as a great objective provided economic information to managers so that they can make rational decisions and evaluate the performance of the organization.

  • This course uses current tools (both software and hardware) that are appropriate to the subject, depending on how the subject is taught. The teacher Via always pays attention to the student's learning process through their use.

  • The objectives of this CU are to prepare the student to design, model and develop systems and tools that facilitate the end user's human interaction with software, whether this is access to its services and applications. To achieve this, students need to be able to: Know and use graphic environments; Know how to integrate objects produced in the 3D environment with the various software tools; Know and understand the interface technologies between a web application and a database; Model and develop web applications with data management capabilities.
  • Introduction to the graphic design tools used to model and design user-machine interfaces: Installation, tools, and necessary libraries; Types and formats of images, video, and multimedia-related objects; Manipulation and editing of objects (Light, Visual Perception, Positioning / Balance / Symmetry / Texture / Composition, Vectorization, Noise, Scale, Rotation, Palette, Color List, Logos, Pictogram, Geometric Design, etc); Graphic formatting libraries and their main formatting languages. Introduction to database management systems: Introduction to database programming languages and their management; Using MongoDB/JSON to store and extract large volumes of data; Scripts and remote access. Project development: Design and development of a graphical interface for managing a small database; Database registration and management.

  • The teaching methodology includes the expository method (TME1) to present the necessary contents, the demonstrative (TME2) to illustrate its application to practical cases and the active (TME3) for solving exercises in the classroom, with and without recourse to the computer. The assessment of knowledge is made by continuous assessment or written test of the final exam. The continuous assessment includes two written tests with a weight of 22.5% each and a group work (45%). Attendance and active participation in classes will be an additional element of assessment with a weighting of 10%. Throughout the semester, Quizzes are made available after classes (about the given topic) or with a group of questions related to topics in the given subject as a way for students to assess their knowledge of the subjects already taught.

  • In the theoretical component classes, in addition to introducing the fundamental concepts and relationships in each chapter, “sample questions” are analyzed that illustrate practical applications related to concepts or relationships discussed previously. All chapters covered in the theoretical and theoretical-practical classes are also explored from a practical perspective, either through software, by conducting simple practical work in the laboratory, or through oral presentations of topics following student research. The aim of this component is for students to visualize and concretize concepts, relationships between quantities, and trajectories. Regarding the domain of concrete problem-solving, students are challenged to solve a set of proposed exercises in class. Those that are not solved in class due to varying execution speeds can be completed by students at home and submitted for correction.

  • This curricular unit serves as the basis for several other subjects in the syllabus, so it is in this CU that we will cover the most elementary physical concepts, from the fundamental laws of the mechanics of a particle and a system of particles, to the concepts of energy and the principles and foundations of the electric and magnetic field. It is intended that students develop skills in analyzing and solving problems that address concrete physical situations and exercise the concepts and physical laws discussed. It is intended that students demonstrate their ability to solve problems with the concepts of General Physics, through laboratory sessions and practical classes.

  • Physics is a wide-ranging area that can be applied to any type of current technology. It is one of the fundamental bases for any development process, and its importance becomes crucial in technology. This course aims to familiarize students with the basics of physics to enable them to gain autonomy and strategies in solving various problems, with links to the other more specific CUs in this course and, later, to professional activity in technological areas related to this course. This course aims to be comprehensive in terms of the subjects covered, starting with the most elementary concepts of physics, scalar and vector quantities, and moving on to the concepts of movement, masses, mechanical forces, charges and electromagnetic forces, and energy. The emphasis in this course is on the demonstrative and visual component of the concepts discussed, an objective that is developed with the help of software tools.
