  • The final classification of the curricular internship will be expressed on a numerical scale of 0 to 20 points, resulting from a weighted average of the evaluation criteria indicated in the previous number, according to the following weightings: a. Intermediate internship evaluation - 15% b. Final report evaluation - 65% c. Public presentation evaluation - 20% The final evaluation and classification of the internship will be carried out by a jury, chaired by the Director of the course.

  • In general terms, the aim is for students in internship environments at the companies where they are placed to be able to: - Apply, in a real context and in an integrated and interdisciplinary way, the knowledge acquired in the different components of the training. - Adapt and develop work habits according to the reality of a company. - Demonstrate the ability to relate interpersonally with different interlocutors with a sense of ethics and deontology; - Describe the technologies, products and services present in the companies. - Demonstrate versatility and initiative; - Demonstrate the ability to adapt to the evolution of procedures and technologies; - Develop and publicly present reports and other documents.
  • This work-based training, Internship, which is an integral and mandatory part of the professional higher technician course in Automation and Robotics, will be carried out in a company. The student, together with the academic supervisor and business supervisor, will develop an internship plan to be carried out in a work context. Throughout the internship period, the student will seek to develop and implement it. This plan will indicate the general lines of the tasks to be developed by the student within the scope of this curricular unit. The Institute will appoint a supervisor responsible for the internship. The company will appoint a supervisor who will monitor the internship, and at the end there will be a public presentation of the internship report which will be submitted for final evaluation.

  • The Internship, a curricular unit integrated into the 2nd semester of the 2nd year of the study plan of the higher technical professional course in Automation and Robotics, as a work-based training component, aims to allow the student to be inserted into a work environment and in functions related to their field of work, training, evolving and applying the knowledge and skills acquired to the practical activities of the professional profile. The Internship is a curricular unit that aims to establish a link with host entities, in order to enable the application in a real work context of the knowledge acquired by the student during the school part of the corresponding study cycle, so that they consolidate it and can develop new skills and competences.

  • The assessment of this course unit is based on the following components: Internship Report, demonstrating the student's learning progress, critical reflection on the activities undertaken, and the results achieved (50%). Professional performance in the workplace, assessed on the basis of the completion of the activities defined in the Training Plan and the evaluation provided by the company supervisor (30%). Oral presentation and defence of the Internship Report before an examination panel, conducted online (20%). Students are expected to undertake workplace-based activities aligned with the learning objectives and competencies defined in the programme curriculum. Attendance at tutorial sessions organised by the academic supervisor and participation in monitoring meetings with the company supervisor are mandatory. The internship must be completed on a continuous basis and may not be interrupted or carried out intermittently without prior approval from the Programme Director

  • The internship aims to put into practice, complement, and develop, in a specialized way, the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired throughout the course, constituting an instrument of preparation for entry into the job market. It also allows students to develop their capacity for initiative, organization, responsibility, and teamwork, as well as the tools necessary for the preparation of technical and scientific reports, such as the Internship Report.
  • The syllabus of this course unit is structured around three main components: The set of activities and tasks carried out by the student in the workplace, agreed upon by the company supervisor and the academic supervisor and formalised in the Training Plan. Tutorial supervision sessions aimed at monitoring the progress of the internship and providing guidance to the student. Thematic sessions supporting the preparation of the Final Internship Report, covering technical and scientific work methodologies, academic writing standards, and procedures for the presentation and defence of the report.

  • The Internship course unit aims to provide students with practical experience in Digital Marketing within a business environment, under both academic and company supervision. During the mandatory 650-hour internship, students must comply with the applicable Internship Regulations, attend tutorial sessions scheduled by the academic supervisor, and participate in monitoring meetings with the company supervisor. At the end of the internship, students are required to prepare, present, and defend an internship report.

    Avaliação contínua comporta: 2 testes durante o decorrer do período letivo com um peso de 40% (20% cada um), trabalhos que correspondem a 30% e um mini projeto com um peso de 30%. A nota mínima em todos os elementos de avaliação é de 8 valores. 

    A média da nota final em avaliação contínua deve ser superior a 10 valores, caso isto não se suceda os alunos deverão ir a época de recurso (100% da nota final) na qual deverão ter 10 valores de nota mínima para poderem obter aprovação à UC.

    A componente escrita consta de duas frequências escritas e é relativa aos conteúdos teóricos. A classificação mínima em cada frequência é de 8 valores. A componente teórico-prática consta duas frequências realizadas durante as aulas. A classificação mínima em cada frequência teórico-prática é de 8 valores. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 TP. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas em cada componente tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores, para efeitos de cálculo da classificação final.

  • The Clinical Pathology curricular unit most often uses laboratory tests of body fluids, such as blood and urine, compared to the pathological anatomy, which uses tissue examination. Students will have the opportunity to understand the four major disciplines in Clinical Pathology: Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank / Transfusion Medicine and Microbiology. Additionally they will have the opportunity to address the area of immunology. In all these areas, students will be encouraged to participate in various formative dynamics, such as discussion of clinical cases. In the end, the student should be familiar with the proper use and interpretation of laboratory tests, the role of the clinical and public health technician, as well as recognize current technology and state-of-the-art equipment used in laboratory tests.
