- The main objective of the curricular unit is to acquire basic knowledge already worked in secondary education and others gradually from mathematical analysis and to develop mathematical skills and competences. It is intended to introduce essential concepts and tools in the context of the study of mathematical models and differential and integral calculus, essential in the formation of future qualified staff in the field of the study cycle. The aim is to consolidate and complement the mathematical training previously acquired, acquire fundamental mathematical training in the domain of differential and eventually one-dimensional integral calculus and also develop the capacity for abstraction in the domain of formulating and solving problems. In a more sustained way provide a deeper knowledge about the concepts of limit, continuity, derivative and indefinite integral, the relationship between these concepts and their application in real context.
- 1. Brief topological notions. Complement the study of real functions of a real variable (modulus, polynomial, exponential, logistic, logarithmic). Reverse function. 2. Limits and continuity of functions. Weierstrass Theorem and Bolzano Theorem. 3. Derivative and differential of a function. Geometric interpretation. Derivation rules. - In a post-secondary cycle of studies in the area of ¿¿technologies and engineering, the curricular units in the scientific area of ¿¿Mathematics play a relevant role. - Training in a work context, Internship, is face-to-face. With this framework it is intended gradually guide the student towards a gradual application of the knowledge acquired in relation to different tasks and jobs that are indicated to you.

- In general terms, it is intended that students in an internship environment in the companies where they are inserted can: - Apply, in a real context and in an integrated and interdisciplinary way, the knowledge acquired in the different components of the training. - Adapt and develop work habits according to the reality of a company. - Demonstrate capacity for interpersonal relationships with differentiated interlocutors with meaning ethical and deontological; - Describe the technologies, products and services present in companies. - Demonstrate versatility and a spirit of initiative; - Demonstrate the ability to adapt to the evolution of procedures and technologies; - Develop and publicly present reports and other documents.
- This training in a work context, Internship, which constitutes an integral and mandatory part of the professional higher technician course in Telecommunications, Electronics and Communications Systems will be held in a company. The student, together with the academic advisor and business advisor, will prepare a plan internship to be developed in a work context. Throughout the internship period, you will seek to develop and accomplish the same. This plan will indicate the general lines of the tasks to be carried out by the student in the scope of this curricular unit. A supervisor responsible for the internship will be appointed by the Institute. The company will appoint a supervisor that will accompany the internship, and at the end there will be a public presentation of the internship report that will be submitted for final evaluation.
A avaliação do Estágio compreende dois momentos:
a. avaliação de estágio intermédia - realizado até 60 dias após o início do estágio (avaliação formativa)
no qual deve constar a grelha de avaliação do orientador empresarial, assim como a grelha de avaliação
do estudante (autoavaliação), sendo que esta serve para medida qualitativa de apoio aos orientadores.
b. avaliação de relatório final de estágio e será efectuada mediante apresentação pública com a duração
máxima de 40 minutos a realizar até 30 dias de calendário após a sua entrega.
A classificação final do estágio curricular será expressa numa escala numérica de 0 a 20 Valores,
resultante de uma média ponderada pelos critérios de avaliação indicados
no número anterior, de acordo com os seguintes pesos de ponderação:
a. avaliação de estágio intermédia - 15%
b. avaliação de relatório final - 65%
c. avaliação de apresentação pública - 20%
A avaliação e classificação finais do Estágio será feita por um júri, presidido pelo Director do curso.- Semestral
- The Internship, curricular unit integrated in the 2nd semester of the 2nd year of the technical course study plan professional degree in Telecommunications, Electronics and Communications Systems, while training component in a work context, its purpose is to allow the student to insertion in the work environment and in functions related to their area of training, aiming to apply the knowledge and knowledge acquired to practical activities of the respective professional profile. The Internship is a curricular unit that aims to establish a connection with entities in reception, with a view to enabling the application of knowledge in a real work context acquired by the student during the academic part of the respective study cycle, in order to consolidate them and can develop new skills and competencies.

- The methodologies that support the teaching-learning process in this Curricular Unit (CU) consist of expository, demonstrative, participatory, laboratory and practical case solving methodologies, clinical case studies and interactive quizzes. Theoretical classes will be taught using the projection of power points and observation of videos representative of the syllabus covered. Practical classes will be held using team-based learning (TBL) with tasks carried out in small groups or individually - viewing images, observing and discussing clinical case slides and implementing experimental protocols in laboratory classes. During these classes, students will also be asked a series of questions in order to develop their critical thinking skills, apply theoretical concepts and then discuss cytopathological procedures, results and diagnoses.

- Apply technical-scientific language in written and oral communication. Understand the basics of sample collection and processing. Microscopically identify the normal cytological elements of the various Organ Systems. Identify, characterize and interpret microscopically reactive or adaptive alterations in cellular constituents, specific and non-specific inflammatory processes, granulomatous and non-granulomatous and infectious; lymphoproliferative diseases and benign and malignant epithelial neoplasms. Apply benign, atypical and malignant cell morphology criteria to classify cytological samples microscopically, using the respective International Classification/Nomenclature Systems. Develop a critical spirit/ability to argue in order to interpret cases, make differential diagnoses and clarify diagnostic hypotheses. Understand their role as a cytotechnologist in relation to the patient/samples.

A Unidade Curricular (UC) de Citopatologia II pode ser realizada através de avaliação contínua ou por avaliação final. A avaliação contínua é composta por 4 frequências escritas, relativas às componentes teórica (T) e teórico-prática (TP).
A componente teórica consta de 2 frequências escritas e é relativa aos conteúdos teóricos, sendo a classificação mínima em cada frequência de 8 valores. A componente teórico-prática consta de 2 frequências de avaliação teórico - práticas, sendo a classificação mínima em cada frequência teórico-prática de 9,5 valores.
A classificação final (CF) da UC por avaliação contínua é o resultado das classificações obtidas na componente teórica (T) e na componente teórica - prática (TP) e é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 TP. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas em cada componente tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores para efeitos de cálculo da classificação final.

- Cytopathology is a fundamental discipline in Pathological Anatomy, whose field of action involves the study of desquamated cells or cells collected from the surface of a tissue, with the aim of detecting morphological abnormalities at cellular level. This Curricular Unit (CU) is based on the development of theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for the cytological interpretation/diagnosis of non-gynaecological exfoliative and aspiration cytology samples. The areas of intervention range from research in Pathological Anatomy to performance in laboratories, promoting better quality both in terms of the technical processing of samples and in terms of cytopathological diagnosis. The relevance of this CU in the study cycle is evidenced by its ability to prepare professionals capable of processing cytological samples and making cytopathological diagnoses, in accordance with the relevant International Classification/Nomenclature Systems.

- The UC has a theoretical methodology through interactive oral exposition using audiovisual media, interspersed with questions, debate, screening of documentaries, with the aim of promoting the student's active participation in the learning process. It also aims to prepare for literacy in the area of ¿¿illustration for comics, with the acquisition of knowledge about the history of comics and cartoons in Portugal and abroad. It encourages Project-Based Learning, with tasks being assigned to be investigated, providing students with explanatory statements with the assessment criteria. These projects can be carried out collaboratively or individually, promoting the registration of existing comic and cartoon genres, and their transformation into proposals linked to design, cinema, advertising, and technical illustration. Learning from experts is valued, inviting artists and specialists to promote group dialogue, reflective thinking and the sharing of experiences.

When caring for the person, establishing a therapeutic relationship becomes urgent as the issues surrounding the health-disease processes cause great anxiety and suffering to the person and family. There is a need to use strategies to facilitate the expression of emotions, feelings, and needs. By placing oneself in the Other's place, and being aware of oneself, one will be able to more easily perceive and understand the person's needs, which is the major objective and purpose of this Course.
