- In practical classes, the student has prior access to the experimental protocols to be carried out in each class session, which allows for prior reading and preparation. These protocols are accompanied by a set of questions, to ensure individual preparation and, subsequently, the discussion of procedures and results.

Understand the importance of the different blood components in transfusion medicine. Understand the importance of transfusion laboratory in optics. Demonstrate both theoretical and practical skills in obtaining blood component, either in the pre-transfusion studies in order to obtain optimal results.

- Theoretical-practical methodology: verbal and audiovisual presentations (PowerPoint, videos, books) by the teacher, with examples and discussion, followed by comics exercises in the classroom. The manga/anime project abides by a tutorial regime, in which each student/group is accompanied by the teacher. The student is subject to continuous assessment and is assigned a grade at the end of the semester for their performance in the theoretical and practical elements of the unit.

- O programa decompõe os princípios e processos do manga e anime em termos históricos, iconográficos e tipológicos, estimulando a sua compreensão holística e manipulação informada enquanto ferramentas expressivas e comunicativas. A transmissão rigorosa da terminologia do manga e anime, bem como o estudo de diferentes autores e tipologias, permite que os alunos aprendam a reconhecer e distinguir, na teoria e na prática, as componentes constituintes de diversos estilos de manga e anime. Os exercícios práticos curtos obedecem aos objetivos de familiarização dos alunos com as metodologias do manga e anime, desenvolvendo aptidões autorais conducentes à prática artística autónoma.
O aluno está sujeito a avaliação contínua, sendo-lhe atribuída uma classificação no fim do semestre pela prestação na componente teórica e prática da unidade curricular.
O módulo teórico é avaliado através da produção de uma infografia explicativa de um manga ou anime da preferência do aluno (20%)
No módulo teórico-prático, os alunos são avaliados por um exercício de produção de um fanzine de 8 páginas com ilustrações inspiradas na estética do manga/anime (30%).
No módulo prático, os alunos são avaliados pela produção individual de um manga (4 pp.) ou anime (1 min.) (40%).
Participação e assiduidade (10%).
Each student is subject to continuous assessment, and is awarded a grade at the end of the semester for performance in the theoretical and practical components of the curricular unit.
The theoretical module is assessed through the production of an explanatory infographic of a manga or anime of the student's preference (20%)
In the theoretical-practical module, students are assessed through an exercise in producing an 8-page fanzine with illustrations inspired by the manga/anime aesthetic (30%).
In the practical module, students are assessed by their individual production of a manga (4 pp.) or anime (1 min.) (40%).

- Objetivos gerais: Estudo do manga (banda desenhada japonesa) e anime (animação japonesa) de uma perspetiva histórica, cultural e prática. Aprendizagem de terminologia, iconografia e tipologias do manga e anime. Sua aplicação num projeto individual de banda desenhada ou animação. Objetivos específicos: Ao completar esta UC, os alunos 1) apreciam a complexidade histórica, cultural e artística do manga e anime, reconhecendo diferentes tipologias, movimentos e autores de referência, 2) refletem criticamente sobre o manga e o anime enquanto fenómenos globais, e reconhecem as suas implicações na criação autoral no Ocidente, 3) identificam as componentes iconográficas do manga e anime, empregando termos técnicos e conceitos especializados para analisar e discuti-los, 4) aplicam a iconografia e técnicas gráficas do manga e anime, culminando na criação de um pequeno manga ou sequência animada.

- Develop and foster a learning dynamic, functional and detailed of human body structure and morphology of the systems: respiratory, digestive, circulatory, genitourinary, lymphatic, and the sense organs. Transmit a full and detailed knowledge of the morphology of the organs and the human body structure. Integrate knowledge gained in the curricular units: Cell Biology, Neurophysiology and Anatomy and Physiology I. Identify, interpret and describe the constituent anatomical structures of the human body, using appropriate terminology. Relate the shape of anatomical structures to their function. - Anatomy is the branch of biology dedicated to the study of the structure of organisms and their parts. It is intimately qualified with embryology, comparative anatomy, evolutionary biology and phylogeny. Human anatomy is considered one of the essential sciences of health science courses. Anatomy is divided into two areas: macroscopic anatomy and microscopic anatomy. Physiology is the study of the functioning of various organ systems, that is, explains how biomolecules, such as cells, tissues, organs and organ systems. Human physiology attempts to understand the mechanical, physical and biochemical mechanisms that keep the human body alive.
