  • The objectives of the curriculum unit are concretized through the program contents developed in the different chapters. In addition to their presentation, using diverse resources, the aim is to foster the ability to interpret the presented situations, critical analysis, decision-making, the application of methodologies, and deductive reasoning.The concepts addressed in each chapter, through various strategies, encourage the systematic use of real circuits and systems, applied and appropriately contextualized. This teaching-learning environment promotes greater motivation and a more solid and consistent learning experience, highlighting the relevance of electronics.Practical demonstrations are conducted, both in real context and in simulation settings, complemented by practical work, with the goal of developing students' autonomy and their ability to apply knowledge.

  • To provide students with a solid training in Electronics, focused on the analysis, design, and implementation of circuits with discrete electronic devices and power supplies. To develop theoretical and practical skills in amplification, switching, signal generation, and frequency response.
  • MOSFET - Fundamentals and Analysis: Physical construction and principle of operation. Types of MOSFET: enhancement and depletion. Symbology, operating regions, and characteristic curves. Biasing and quiescent operating point (Q-point). MOSFET as a switch and as an amplifier. Small signal models, gains, and impedances. Power Devices: Slow and fast diodes. Thyristors, GTO, and Triac. Power transistors: BJT, MOSFET, and IGBT. Switching characteristics and applications. Power Supply Systems: Half-wave and full-wave rectifiers. Filtering with capacitors and inductors. Voltage regulators. Introduction to switched converters (buck, boost). Amplification and Frequency Response: High-frequency models (BJT and MOSFET). Response at low and high frequencies. Oscillators and Signal Generators: Signal generators, multivibrators, and wave shaping circuits. RC, LC, Colpitts, Hartley, and crystal oscillators. Special oscillators: VCO, VCXO, TCVCO, TCVCXO.
  • A metodologia de ensino reparte-se pelas vertentes Teórica, Exercícios e Trabalhos Laboratoriais.

    Avaliação Continua:
    É constituida por 2 Provas Teóricas (PT) e Trabalhos de Laboratório (TL).
    Sendo a Nota de Final Frequência dada por: NF = (0,5 x PT) + (0,5 x TL), com PT = 10 Valores, TL = 10 Valores.


    Faz-se a ressalva que, a aprovação na avaliação continua só é possível se a média obtida nas duas provas escritas for superior ou igual a 10 valores
    sendo que em nenhuma delas o aluno pode ter nota inferior a 8 valores.


    Entrega de Relatórios
    Os relatórios dos trabalhos laboratoriais devem ser entregues, através da plataforma moodle, até quinze dias após a data de conclusão definida para a sua realização e estarão sujeitos a avaliação oral.


    Exame de recurso :
    Se o aluno não obtiver aprovação em avaliação contínua, terá acesso a um exame composto por componentes Teórica (peso de 50%) e Prática (peso de
    50%). Sendo valorizada na avaliacao por exame a componente prática da avaliaçao continua com aprovação.

    A classificação final (CF) da unidade curricular por avaliação contínua é obtida a partir das classificações obtidas na componente escrita (T) e na componente prática (PL). A componente escrita consta de duas frequências escritas e é relativa aos conteúdos teóricos. A classificação mínima é de 9,5 valores. A componente prática consta de 2 momentos de avaliação práticos realizados durante as aulas. A classificação mínima em cada frequência prática é de 9,5 valores. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 PL. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas em cada componente, tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.

  • The curricular unit aims to transmit to students a wide range of knowledge in the field of Quality, namely themes related to Quality Control and Quality Assurance. It is intended that students learn and apply statistical quality control techniques and methodologies that allow, monitoring and improving productive and industrial processes. The domains of the course give students the opportunity to learn how to solve problems in a structured way through the application of quality tools, to analyze data obtained through experimentation that will serve to optimize the performance of processes and product compliance, or even to measure and monitor the stability of processes and their ability to meet customer requirements, as well as the ability to perform audits.

  • The teaching/learning process adopts a theoretical-practical approach based on the demonstration of real and practical examples; in direct contact with the technologies necessary to produce comics and image manipulation; in the development of work methodologies, research, and creative processes; in the collective critical analysis at the end of classes about all the work done.

  • General objectives: Study of illustration as an expressive element applicable to the special-topic and sequential apparatus of comics. Apply the terminology and concepts of illustration for comics to practical exercises, and broadening the students’ frame of references, with a focus on unconventional authors and comics styles, e.g., art comics and abstract comics. Specific objectives: Upon completion of this course, students 1) appreciate the diversity and graphic possibilities of the medium of comics, including experimental graphic narratives, 2) distinguish and graphically explore different illustration typologies in the context of comics, namely, abstract, textual, informal, collage, installation and experimental comics, 3) apply the principles of illustration and composition to the spatial-topic and sequential apparatus of comic, e.g., the panel grid, 4) demonstrate creative and authorial autonomy.
  • 1) DESIGN AND PRODUCTION OF A COMIC BOOK Comic book art vocabulary notions (layout options and grids for building the page, double page relationship, rhythm, scale of shots for the panels, comic book typography and onomatopoeia, ballooning); Comics pre-production: logline, scriptwriting, character design, scenarios and thumbnailing; Comic book production: penciling, inking, balloons/subtitles, onomatopoeia, color, pagination in suitable software, and design; Exporting for print and web.

    10% Avaliação Contínua: participação, assiduidade e presença (75%) cujo incumprimento obriga a exame.

  • The UFC I will be held in a clinical context, in health units, such as Residential Structure for the Elderly (ERPI), Senior Residences, and in Health Care Continuous Units of medium and long duration, representing the nursing student's first contact with the reality of the nursing profession. It allows the acquisition of instrumental, interpersonal, and systemic skills and promotes the development of clinical reasoning and decision-making in nursing. Throughout UFC I, the student will be called upon to assume responsibility and act considering ethical and deontological principles when providing nursing care, considering a holistic view, and guaranteeing the safety of the person/family and other team members. Nursing students will be distributed over 4 weeks, with a total workload of 140 hours. Attendance is mandatory, with an absence limit of 10%, for 14 hours, when duly justified.
