  • - Provide the fundamental valences associated to the knowledge of the electrical quantities involved in the circuit theory / study of active and passive linear devices. - Use methods / analysis techniques to evaluate the behavior of electric circuits - Designing simple electrical and electronic circuits
  • Voltage, current, resistance, energy and power. Potential difference, independent and dependent sources of voltage and current. Resistive circuits. Ohm's Law. Resistive association. Transforming Fonts. Laws of Kirchhoff. The Overlap Theorem. Theorems of Thévenin and Norton. Maximum Power Transfer. Mesh and nodal analysis. Circuits w / AmpOps. Capacity of a capacitor and stored energy. Inductance of a Coil and stored energy. Capacitors and Coils their characteristics and association. RC, RL and RLC circuits. Analysis of linear circuits in sinusoidal steady state. Analysis in the Complex Plane. Fasores. Impedance and Reactance. Amplitude and phase ratios in resistors, coils and capacitors. Dissipated and reactive power, Power Factor. Admittances. Mutual inductance. Linear and ideal transformer Frequency domain circuit analysis. Zeros and Poles. Bode diagrams. Resonance.

    Prova Teórica (70% da Classificação Final):
    - Prova escrita, abrangendo a totalidade da matéria das aulas teóricas e exames nas épocas previstas nos regulamentos.
    - Prova oral, que poderá ser realizada para confirmar qualquer nota obtida na avaliação escrita
    - Nota mínima: 10.0 valores.


    Laboratórios (30% da Classificação Final):
    - Conjunto de trabalhos, de frequência obrigatória, com entrega de relatórios, e discussão final (de presença obrigatória).

  • This is the first circuit analysis discipline. Thus, it intends to provide the student with the fundamental knowledge of circuit analysis, which enable the analysis and assessment of behavior and design of simple electrical and electronic circuits. It also approaches several techniques and theorems for the analysis of LCR circuits, with constant or alternating currents. Moreover it introduces operational amplifiers and simple magnetic circuits.

  • The course will use current software tools to familiarize students with the concepts used in the labor market.

  • Identify and acquire knowledge and elements in the design, development and evaluation of applications for various devices; Learn and become familiar with the main tools and technologies used in native application programming platforms, Android and IOS; Know the various programming practices and languages used in this type of mobile development and their resources; Develop applications capable of interacting with the user of the device and with the resources available on the mobile device.
  • Introduction to mobile device development: Overview and understanding of current technologies and market; Characteristics, features, and evolution. Object-Oriented programming revisions: Encapsulation; Inheritance; Polymorphism; Interfaces. Fundamentals of mobile application development: Tools and environments: IDEs, SDKs, emulators; Native development on Android/iOS; Cross-platform and hybrid development; Web programming (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) in hybrid applications; UI design and user experience (UX). Platforms, frameworks, and services: Asynchronous and multithread programming; Real-time communication; Backend integration; Data persistence models; Security and privacy. Final project development. Planning, conception, development, testing, and delivery; Project management methodologies and presentation.

    A classificação final (CF) da unidade curricular por avaliação contínua é obtida a partir das classificações
    obtidas na componente escrita (T) e na componente prática (PL). A componente Teórica consta de duas
    frequências escritas e é relativa aos conteúdos teóricos. A classificação mínima em cada frequência é de
    8 valores. A componente prática consta de 2 momentos de avaliação práticos realizados durante as
    aulas laboratoriais, A classificação mínima de cada momento é de 8 valores. A classificação final é
    calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 PL. A classificação de todos os instrumentos
    de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações
    obtidas tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5

  • The course unit of Cellular and Molecular Biology introduces the knowledge concerning the structure and functioning of the cell.Fundamental knowledge concerning the storage, transmission and use of genetic information in eukaryotic and prokaryotic organisms is transmitted. The cell cycle and the control of gene expression are studied, as well as related themes such as cancer and apoptosis. The student should grasp the importance of molecular biology not only as a source of biotechnology processes, but also as a rapidly expanding toolkit with applications in multiple areas of health. In laboratory practice, the most commonly used techniques in biology will be performed.
