  • In this curricular unit, the Team-based learning (TBL) methodology is used, with tasks carried out in small groups, allowing the development of the ability to analyze and apply theoretical concepts.

  • - Conduct an interview with the user to identify and assess their needs. - Properly analyze the prescription. - Properly carry out the dispensation and carry out the advice in pharmacy. - Manage the communication process. - Plan and monitor health care. - Apply ethical, deontological and good practice references in workshop pharmacy. - Resolve and discuss clinical cases.
  • 1. Workshop pharmacy with case studies of pharmacotherapeutic groups, health products and dietary supplements: 1.1. Diagnosis and assessment of the needs of the user. 1.2. Analysis of the prescription and interview with the user. 1.3. Dispensing and counseling (dosage, contraindications and interactions) in a pharmacy. 1.4. Planning and surveillance of health care. 2. Ethical, deontological and good practice references in workshop pharmacy. 3. Integrated simulated practices, in accordance with current legislation and public health policies.

    Regime de Avaliação contínua  a nota final resulta da média ponderada dos seguintes componentes: Um teste escrito (componente A), contribui com 50% para a classificação final, trabalho individual  30% (componente B) e trabalho de grupo 20% (componente C). .   A classificação mínima de cada momento de avaliação é de 8 valores . CF= A (50%) + B (30%) + C (20%). A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5 valores

  • The pharmacy Counseling curricular unit is the support of pharmaceutical intervention at the community pharmacy level and aims at the development of competencies (knowledge, know-how, know-being and know-how) in this area of professional practice promoting an ethical professional attitude and an ability to interact with the user. It also aims to promote the development of a convenient and appropriate technical posture when serving them.

  • Classes will be theoretical-practical, with the development and application of the 4 areas of linguistic competence: oral and written comprehension, oral and written production. Theoretical classes focusing on grammatical content. Practical classes that include grammar exercises, vocabulary acquisition exercises, reading and interpreting texts, role play exercises, individual and group work. Digital tools like Quizlet and others will be used.

  • The main skills to be acquired are: The ability to communicate in writing and orally fluently, clearly and appropriately in English in a professional context. The ability to participate in meetings, make presentations and speak on the phone, in a clear and well-structured manner, using vocabulary and linguistic strategies appropriate to the situations and problems faced. The ability to prepare, analyse and discuss written documents.
  • Objectives of this course unit: * Develop oral and written skills in the area of Technology; * Review and systematize previously acquired linguistic content; * Share information about everyday life; * Produce written communications in the field of commercial and technical relations in the area of the course; * Expand and apply vocabulary related to information technologies; * Develop ability to read and interpret technical manuals in the course area.

The objective is, therefore, to integrate the specific skills of written and oral comprehension, speaking and writing in order to provide students with the possibility of developing and consolidating their English in the several topocs proposed.     a) Não sendo recomendável, o uso ocasional de lAGen para a elaboração dos trabalhos de avaliação contínua não deverá exceder o limite de 10% em cada um. Sempre que utilizada, deve a mesma ser explicitamente mencionada nos respetivos relatórios escritos ao abrigo das normas de referenciação e bibliografia adotadas.

    b) A percentagem de plágio final apurada pelo Turnitin em cada trabalho de avaliação contínua não deverá ultrapassar o limite máximo de 15% (citações e bibliografia incluídas).

    c) Sempre que necessário, a Docente poderá solicitar provas individuais orais extraordinárias, para confirmação dos resultados dos estudantes nas avaliações planeadas.
