  • Objectives: O1. The main objective of this curricular unit is to understand the key processes and techniques of human resources, which provides for future companies, on the one hand an overview of what the human capital of organizations must be and on the other ensuring the same companies a theoretical and practical knowledge and technical-scientific management of people as individuals, constituting itself as an introductory course to the various themes of human resource management. O2. It is intended that students acquire essential knowledge to have an integrated and dynamic vision of people management and technical assistance in this area. Aptitudes and competences: C1. Identify the context of the human resources function within the global enterprise. C2. Compare the processes and techniques relating to strategic management of human resources. C3. List the main processes and techniques of managing people.

    A avaliação curricular é composta pela realização de trabalhos, em que são aplicados os principais conteúdos programáticos.
    Fórmula de cálculo:
    - Apresentação em Aula - 50%
    - Trabalhos - 50%
    Todos os estudantes que neste regime de avaliação tenham obtido média inferior a 9,50 valores são avaliados em avaliação final.
    Avaliação final:
    Nas épocas normal, de recurso e especial a avaliação será orientada pelos mesmos objetivos e baseia-se num exame (100%) integrando a componente teórica e a componente prática da unidade curricular.

O2. The aim is for students to acquire a set of essential knowledge for an integrated and dynamic overview of people management and technical intervention in this field, constituting an introductory course to the various topics of human resources management.   •    Teaching methodologies are based on expository, interrogative, and active methods, as well as the resolution of theoretical and practical exercises in the classroom. In normal terms, curricular assessment consists of individual assessments, weighted as follows: Portfolio (class-by-class) 30%, Cybersecurity Self-Study 30%, Assessment Test - Midterm (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 40% The average for this course will be calculated through three distinct elements, participation in which is mandatory (Portfolio, Cybersecurity Self-Study, and Assessment Test). Therefore, students must participate in all three types of assessment elements to calculate their final average.
