  • The classes will address the concepts of the different themes and, later, show their practical application, with a series of exercises inside and outside the classroom, inducing the active and autonomous participation of students.   For this purpose, the use of the expository method is foreseen to introduce the concepts and structure the reasoning and the interrogative method for the learning evaluation, in the theoretical aspect of each chapter. With regard to the practical aspect, the use of the demonstrative method is foreseen for the practical illustration of the contents, as well as active, participatory and autonomous methods to make the connection with the experience of each one.   In summary: (1) Expository and Interrogative Methodology - participatory teaching, resorting whenever necessary to Motivation strategies and to (2) Active Pedagogical Methodologies such as Flipped Classroom, Gamification and Problem/Project Based Learning.

  • Avaliação Curricular: O estudante realiza 2 fichas de exercícios em grupo e dois testes individuais. O estudante aprova se a classificação final for superior ou igual a 9.5 valores. A classificação final é calculada pela fórmula Classificação Final = 0.2*F1+0.3*T1+0.2*F2+0.3*T2, onde F1, F2, T1 e T2 denotam, respetivamente, as notas nas fichas de exercícios e nos testes individuais. 

    Avaliação Final: O estudante realiza o exame completo e aprova se obtiver classificação superior ou igual a 9.5 valores.

  • Synchronous (distance): MET 1. - Expository, interrogative, and interactive methods: Presentation/explanation of concepts using expository, interrogative, and interactive methods. All pedagogical support materials are made available through the Moodle platform. In-person: MET 2. - Active methodologies: Practical application through exercises and assignments in a classroom setting. Autonomous: MET 3. - Completion of additional exercises/problems proposed by the instructor. The instructor provides feedback (Tutorial Guidance - OT) on the results obtained by the student in solving these proposed problems, through the Moodle platform.

  • The methodology combines synchronous online activities, in-person sessions, and independent study. The synchronous sessions focus on presenting and understanding the course content, using lecture-based and demonstration-based methods, supplemented by participation in discussion forums and wikis on the Moodle platform to reinforce learning. In-person sessions promote a deeper understanding of the content through the presentation, discussion, and resolution of real or simulated practical cases, encouraging application, analysis, and reflection. Independent study includes reading the recommended bibliography for each class. The instructor monitors learning through feedback during tutorial sessions, either in person or via Moodle, and support is also provided by the virtual tutor Philix.ai.

  • Avaliação Curricular (contínua):
    A1. Portfólio de casos resolvidos em aula (grupo). A resolução escrita é submetida na plataforma LMS Moodle.
    A2. Trabalho prático (individual). Escrita de um short paper baseado num caso analisado. O estudante aplicará as regras da escrita
    científica.
    A3. Teste teórico/prático (individual). Consiste num teste escrito a realizar no final do semestre.
    A classificação final é calculada através da fórmula Classificação Final = 0,3*A1+0,4*A2 + 0,3*A3. O estudante é aprovado se obtiver
    classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.
    A classificação mínima na avaliação curricular (continua) é a seguinte:- Portfólio de casos resolvidos em aula (grupo): 10 valores- Trabalho prático (individual): 10 valores- Teste teórico/prático (individual): 8 valores
    A avaliação dos trabalhos práticos em grupo, inclui a avaliação individual dos estudantes que terá uma ponderação de 40% na
    classificação do estudante nessa componente.
    Avaliação Final e/ou de Recurso/Especial.
    Hipótese 1:- A1. Portfólio de casos resolvidos em sala. O Estudante obteve classificação positiva nesta componente, bem como na avaliação
    individual da mesma: mantêm a classificação que será considerada em qualquer das épocas.- A2. Trabalho prático (individual). O estudante realizou no trabalho e obteve classificação positiva: mantém a classificação que será
    considerada em qualquer das épocas (Avaliação Final, Recurso/Especial)- A3. Teste final teórico/prático (individual). O estudante realiza este Teste escrito em qualquer das épocas em que se submeta a
    avaliação.
    A classificação final é calculada através da formula prevista na avaliação Curricular (contínua).
    Hipótese 2:- A1. Portfólio de casos resolvidos em sala. O estudante não participou ou participando obteve classificação negativa.
    e/ou- A2. Trabalho prático (individual). O estudante não realizou o trabalho ou obteve classificação negativa no trabalho.
    Nestas circunstâncias estas componentes da avaliação não poderão ser utilizadas na Avaliação Final, Avaliação em Época de
    Recurso/Especial (A).
    O estudante realiza o exame teórico-prático escrito (A=100%) e é aprovado se obtiver uma classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores em

  • Avaliação curricular (contínua):
    A avaliação curricular é composta pela realização de um trabalho de grupo e um teste, em que são aplicados os principais conteúdos programáticos.
    Fórmula de cálculo:
    - TP (Trabalho de Pesquisa) - 50%
    - T (Teste) – 50%
    Todos os estudantes que neste regime de avaliação tenham obtido média inferior a 9,50 valores são avaliados em avaliação final.
    Avaliação final:
    Nas épocas normal, de recurso e especial a avaliação será orientada pelos mesmos objetivos e baseia-se num exame (100%) integrando a componente teórica e a componente prática da unidade curricular.
