- The methodologies favor collaborative and cooperative teaching, through group work, reasoned criticism and reflective intervention and debate, while contributing to the consolidation of knowledge and its mobilization. We will therefore emphasize forms of work that include relevant bibliographical research and its critical analysis. In group work, students are led to reflect on the new knowledge acquired and decide on future actions to undertake, actively contributing to the development of a wide range of instrumental, interpersonal and systemic skills.

- This UC intends to show the various principles of existing types of communications, from networks and their structures, to concepts and fundamentals about the different protocols used in the current communications. Thus it will be possible for the student to obtain an overview of the basic principles of how the Internet works and the applications that run on it.

- Expository, demonstrative, participatory and problem solving. The curricular unit can be completed through continuous assessment or final assessment. The final classification (CF) of the curricular unit through continuous assessment is obtained from the classifications obtained in the theoretical-practical written component. The written component consists of two written frequencies and relates to theoretical-practical content. The minimum classification in each frequency is 8 values. The final classification is calculated based on the arithmetic average of the two frequencies. The classification of all assessment instruments is expressed on a scale of 0 to 20 values, with that the weighted value of the classifications obtained must be equal to or greater than 9.5 values.

- Know the safety standards inherent to the registration and handling of biopsy specimens and surgical specimens. Identify the different biological samples. Proceed with the macroscopic description of biopsies and surgical specimens. Identify the different fragment collection methods and apply them to different biological samples. Know the staging protocols for neoplastic diseases, and the importance of adequate collection in macro and microscopic diagnosis.¿

- This curricular unit will cover the packaging, description, dissection and collection of histological material, from biopsies to complex surgical specimens, with a special focus on the most frequent samples. The analysis of these samples makes it possible to obtain a diagnosis, provide information in terms of prognosis and also assist in the patients follow-up. Biological samples must be properly handled by people with appropriate training.
