  • In-person: 1. Expository method: the defined program content is explored. In addition, the demonstrative method is used to present concrete examples of how the content can be applied. 2. Exploration of software solutions for project management. 3. Laboratory practice: based on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) methodology, aiming to find solutions to problems identified by students or proposed by the teacher. Independent: 4. Guided research proposed by the teacher to consolidate the topics under study and provide input for the practical work developed by the students. The teacher provides feedback on the development of the problem addressed in the laboratory practice (Tutorial Guidance - TG), either in person in the classroom or through the Moodle

Develop and manage a project incorporating the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired into this management

  • A avaliação contínua consiste na realização de um teste intermédio (ponderação de 40%) e de três trabalhos práticos (estudo de caso) com uma ponderação de 60%. 
    Os estudantes que não obtiverem aprovação, ou não se tenham submetido, à avaliação contínua, serão sujeitos à avaliação final concretizada através de exame (100%).

  • The objectives of the curricular unit are: O1. To learn the fundamental concepts of economy; O2. Explain how these concepts can be applied to a set of economic problems, particularly regarding individual economic decision making and the functioning of some markets; O3. Develop the perception of the usefulness of economic models in the understanding the economy. At the end of the unit students are faced with situations and problems of economic nature and they should be able to: C1. Develop a structured thought appropriate to the presented situation.

  • The objectives of the course unit are as follows: Enable students to acquire knowledge of computing (hardware and software) from the perspective of both manager and user. Provide students with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary for the correct use of information technologies in the context of their personal and professional activities. Offer students the opportunity to use virtual learning environments. Introduce the fundamentals of cloud computing. Present the main tools available on cloud computing platforms. By the end of the course unit, students should be able to: Apply techniques and select the most appropriate computer applications for each situation; Use synchronous and asynchronous communication tools; Use a cloud computing platform; Develop and insert content in collaborative computing and learning platforms.
