  • In this curricular unit, the Team-based learning (TBL) methodology is used, with tasks carried out in small groups, allowing the development of the ability to analyze and apply theoretical concepts.

  • In continuity with the curricular unit Research I, it will be developed  knowledge in the area of ¿¿collection and management of data, logic and procedure of publication and scientific dissemination, as well as a relevant approach to ethical issues of research per se or its publication and dissemination. In terms of skills and competences it is intended that students develop technical skills in the management of data, scientific writing, the use of media for presentations and develop an attitude in line with the ethical aspects of research. Thus, combined with a training model type scientist practiocioner, this course is also an approach to the further development of skills in scientific production and the ability to constantly search and update the scientific self-training (demand and active and motivated consultation adequate scientific information for professional performance).
  • 1. Databases: choice, collectio technics and management 2. The scientific diffusion process: typology 3. The preparation of a scientific article 3.1. Writing Style 3.2. Rules for publication 3.3. The peer review process 3.4. The impact factor and the dissemination of information 4. The registration of biological and chemical patents 5. Presentation of scientific papers: 5.1.   • The individual exercises abide by a tutorial teaching regime, in which each student is personally accompanied by the teacher. The student is subject to continuous assessment and is assigned a grade at the end of the semester for their performance in the theoretical and practical elements of the course.   50% punctual, exploratory exercises. 40% project exercise: procedural, creative and qualitative development. 10%. Continuous assessment: attendance (75%), punctuality and participation. The appeal exam consists of the delivery of all exercises in the semester (50%) and the presentation or realization in loco of the exam exercise (50%).

  • Students will learn and be able to apply the specific graphical techniques associated with the Manga drawing style, as well as its historical and cultural context. Develop the ability to fully represent the Manga-style character, understanding the relationships between structure, figure, and body scale. Develop technical and artistic skills to design a Manga-style comic book.
  • Introduction to the history and graphic techniques of Manga. Study and practice of Manga drawing techniques, including:   -Basic materials for Manga drawing -Basic anatomy (face, eyes, nose, mouth, hair, and ears) -Facial expressions -Body proportions, hands, and feet -Anatomy, proportions, and perspective (male, female) -Clothing and accessories -Lighting and shadows -Movement, actions, and dynamic body postures -Exploration of visual narrative techniques in Manga; -Creation of a Manga-style comic book page.

  • In the Fundamentals of Nursing II Curricular Unit, key nursing concepts relevant to its metaparadigms are addressed: person, health, environment and nursing, transmitting scientific and technical knowledge on which nursing praxis is based (capacity for ethical decision-making, elaboration of the Nursing process according to the ICNP language; Nursing process in a simulation context) and, concepts about the health-disease process throughout the life cycle and with regard to the multidimensionality of the person and its implications in the satisfaction of Basic Human Needs ( NHB).
