- Today Information Systems play a fundamental role in Organizations. That is why it is fundamental that all have the knowledge to enable them to use the Systems in order to realize their full potential. The area of Business Sciences in general and Accounting in particular, is one of those that most need to understand how Information Systems can be used not only for efficiency gains but also for the creation and maintenance of competitive advantages. This UC intends to equip students with the skills that enable them to use Information Systems to their full potential, as well as to understand what types of systems should be used for each solution, and to be able to participate in their selection and management. Great emphasis will be placed on the practical use of Office productivity tools, in particular in mastering spreadsheet capabilities.

- Theoretical-practical: Presentation of the syllabus using audiovisual aids. Practical: Discussion of clinical cases; presentation by students and group discussion of practical topics. Consultations for clinical and complementary examinations. A - Continuous assessment: Theoretical and Practical - The presentation of a practical topic by the students, discussion of clinical cases, assignments or mini tests at the end of each class. Note: attendance at 2/3 of the classes and completion of 2/3 of the evaluation in order to pass. - This curricular unit's main objective is to prepare the student for the clinical approach to a pediatric patient, providing them with an individual approach as well as a collective approach to the patient. It continues beyond the topics covered in Reproduction and Obstetrics. Since small animal pediatrics is an area that is little covered in the course of study, this subject ends up filling the gap that will be lacking even in the clinical area of veterinary nursing.

- The sessions are conducted through interactive oral presentations, with questions posed for students to answer individually and collectively. The presentation of results by the student requires active participation in the learning process. It is the student's responsibility to research and investigate the seminar topics.

- The general objective of the 9 seminars is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop editorial projects such as illustrated albums, comics, artist's books, and more experimental publications. These projects should reflect on sequential visual narratives within a contemporary and interdisciplinary dynamic, targeted at specific audiences. The specific objectives are: to understand the various stages of production of an artistic editorial project and its promotion/dissemination in the artistic and editorial market; to recognize different ways of developing sequential visual narratives in contemporary contexts for different audiences and their potential for adaptation to other media; to acquire knowledge of legal and juridical issues for informed professionalization; and to innovate in creative proposals.

Critérios de avaliação para ensaio visual ou banda desenhada ou zine ilustrado em formato documental: inovação no objeto apresentado, criatividade gráfica, expressividade das ilustrações, rigor na linguagem textual e na adequação do vocabulário utilizado e na capacidade de síntese da explanação das ideias principais dos seminários escolhidos.Critérios de avaliação para o artigo académico: respeito pelas normas do modelo dado pelo regente; pertinência das imagens/ilustrações documentais e a sua correta legendagem, rigor na linguagem textual e na adequação do vocabulário utilizado e na capacidade de síntese da explanação das ideias principais dos seminários escolhidos. 15% Avaliação contínua: assiduidade (75% obrigatória), pontualidade e participação.
O exame de recurso é constituído pela entrega do documento do semestre (50%) e pela apresentação oral de um dos seminários eleitos (50%).

- The Pre-Production CU aims to provide students with essential knowledge for the preparation and survey of an audiovisual production. To this end, it addresses the essential areas ranging from writing to distribution as areas to be taken into account when preparing a project.This course unit aims to equip students with the necessary tools and reflection, ranging from the initial idea for a film to its final stage on the screen. We explore all the phases a film project goes through before reaching the screen, from writing, pre-production, production, post-production and finalization, promotion and dissemination, distribution and exhibition. Through this reflection and practice, we equip students with critical and creative thinking skills, providing them with the tools to develop their own ideas and bring them to life on screen. Provide students with sensitivity and good practices in a collective art.

- The Introduction to Law UC is core to this Course. In this UC, it is intended that students obtain a transversal view of Law and the different branches that constitute it. With the transmission of general notions, especially in terms of the elements of a legal relationship, but also with the explanation of the entire legislative process, it is intended that students have the ability to understand/interpret legal norms. It is also intended to encourage, based on the practical case, the capacity for reflection. In the end, it is intended that students faced with concrete cases can identify the questions that arise, identify the possible answers - always with clear and solid foundation. Given the integration of this Course, it will be treated, even if not in-depth knowledge of Public Administration - whether in terms of the activity pursued (act, regulation and public contracts).
