  • Face-to-face: 1. Interrogative methodology for critical reflection and consolidation of knowledge in interaction with the teacher. 2. Active methodologies in the classroom, through group work, case studies, and design thinking moments geared toward the practical application of content. Independent work: 3. Individual consolidation through guided reading, problem solving, and in-depth study of the content covered in the in-person sessions.

  • O1. Provide students with knowledge and understanding of the principles and objectives of management information systems O2. Describe the communication process and identify the types and functions of images in illustrating messages. O3. Frame information within human resource management strategies.  O4. Recognize the company's information system in order to consider behavioral and organizational dimensions.  O5. Present web tools as instruments of communication and information. O6. Define the concept of negotiation as a process of organizational culture development.  O7. Identify the different styles of negotiators and the attitudes to develop towards them.  O8. Describe the various contextual elements in the effectiveness of the negotiation outcome. At the end of the course, students should be able to analyze situations, diagnose problems, and make decisions based on examples from the business world.

    Nas épocas normal, de recurso e especial a avaliação será orientada pelos mesmos objetivos e baseia-se num exame (100%) integrando a componente teórica e a componente prática da unidade curricular.

  • O1. The objectives of this course are to provide students with basic knowledge in the field of labor law formation and development, with a special focus on the scope and concept of labor law, its specific sources and evolution, as well as the contours of an employment contract, its elements, purpose, formation, vicissitudes, modalities, termination, practical effects, and related procedures.  C1. By the end of the course, students should be able to define the scope of labor law, its sources, the concept of an employment contract and how it differs from similar concepts, identify the various types of employment contracts and their specific features, some of the vicissitudes that may arise, the rights and duties of both parties, and be able to identify and distinguish the types of termination of employment, their procedures and consequences, among other skills.
  • 1. Introduction to employment law - coding labor. 2. Concept and range of the labor law. 3. The specific sources of labor law and its practical implication. 4. The private labor relations: the essentiality of employment and their implications for the parties. 5. Rights and duties of the parties. 6. The functional and geographical mobility. 7. Vacation, holidays and absences: context and consequences for the parties. 8 The vicissitudes of employment. 9 The arrangements for the termination of the employment contract: practical consequences, effects and procedures.  10. Brief reference to collective labor relations.
  • A avaliação curricular será concretizada através da realização de um teste e um trabalho de grupo (50% de ponderação cada um), ambos obrigatórios.
    A avaliação final será realizada através de exame escrito (100%).

  • The course introduces the fundamentals of labor law, addressing its evolution, sources, scope of application, and employment contract regime, including modalities, vicissitudes, termination of employment, and the main rights and duties of the parties.

  • The objectives of the curricular unit are as follows: Identify the structure of the network operating system, its architecture, and working philosophy. Explore the system through its interfaces and base applications. Automate tasks using scripts appropriate to the system environment. Understand and utilize network support utilities and tools. Explore the technologies for implementing the functionalities of this architecture. Install the server operating system. Install and distinguish between resident and installable device drivers. Configure the server operating system. Optimize the operating system. Perform backups and understand fault protection systems. Define and configure user accounts. Manage resources. Characterize, install, and configure the DHCP service. Characterize, install, and configure the DNS service. Characterize, install, and configure data routing services. Characterize, install, and configure web server services.
