  • In-person: M1. Theoretical/practical classes: presentation of concepts and discussion of program content. These exercises will be formative in nature and will deepen understanding of the proposed topics. M2. Practical application: through case studies aimed at consolidating/reviewing knowledge. Independent: M3. Guided research proposed by the teacher. The teacher provides feedback on the results of the proposed exercises (Tutorial Guidance – TG) in person in the classroom or through the Moodle teaching/learning support platform. In addition, students can interact with the virtual tutor Philix.ai integrated into the Moodle LMS platform.

  • O1. Introduce the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship. O2. Raise students' awareness of innovation issues. O3. Characterize the most relevant aspects of innovation management. O4. Present the motivational factors that characterize the behavior of entrepreneurs. O5. Present the aspects to be taken into account when setting up a company. O6. Develop the process leading to the creation of a company. O7. Present a critical analysis of real examples of innovation. O8. Identify the attitudes and behaviors that characterize an entrepreneurial attitude. O9. Consider alternatives to their professional opportunities related to entrepreneurship.  
  • 1. Innovation management: Concepts of innovation. Internal and external contextualization. Innovation and career opportunities. Innovation and intellectual property. 2. Introduction to entrepreneurship: Motivation of entrepreneurs. Leadership and team management. 3. The process of creating businesses/companies: Where ideas come from. Tax framework for business creation. Business planning and evaluation. Business plan development.
  • Avaliação curricular:
    A1. Portfólio: Exercícios de aplicação em sala de aula. Exercícios escritos resolvidos e entregues no final da aula.
    A2. Trabalho prático (grupo). Consiste em documento escrito complementado com a apresentação e discussão do mesmo.
    A3. Teste final teórico-prático (individual). Teste escrito a realizar no final do semestre.
    A classificação final é calculada através da fórmula Classificação Final = A1*0,2+A2*0,4+TF*0,4. O estudante é aprovado se obtiver classificação igual ou superior a 9,5 valores.
    A avaliação final consiste na realização de um exame 100%.

  • The course introduces the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship, raises awareness of related topics, characterizes innovation management and entrepreneurial behavior, addresses aspects of business creation, and develops the process of creating a business, promoting critical analysis of real examples and reflection on career opportunities linked to entrepreneurship.

  • The learning methodology will be project-based, integrating theoretical and practical concepts in a classroom setting. The regular assessment consists of a written test focused on the theoretical and practical components of the course and a group project. Each of these assessment components has the following weight: written test - 60%; group project - 40%. Final assessment is guided by the same objectives and is based on a single exam (100%) that integrates both the theoretical and practical components of the course.
