- The learning methodology will be based on problems/projects (Project Based Learning), integrating theoretical and practical concepts in the classroom. The curricular assessment consists of a written test on the theoretical component of the course and a group project. Each assessment element is weighted as follows: written test 50% and project 50%. The final assessment is guided by the same objectives and is based on an exam (100%) integrating the theoretical and practical components of the course.

- The Health Fundamentals course introduces students to the general context of health, exploring its principles, definitions, structural areas and assumptions of global health, as well as the organisation and functioning of health systems. It analyses the history and evolution of international organisations, highlighting their missions, structures and functions in the coordination of global public health. It addresses current and future challenges, including the burden of disease and quality of life in different international contexts. It relates health to the Sustainable Development Goals, emphasising its central role in human development. Finally, it considers the evaluation of health programmes and policies through methods of measuring impact, effectiveness and monitoring of international interventions.

- The syllabus begins by presenting the introductory concepts related to the Planning, Development, Implementation and Exploitation of Information Systems. The perception of the framework for approaching an Information System is essential for students to perceive the need for this area in the labor market. It is intended to address the methods, processes and model of PSI (Information Systems Planning). It is intended to develop the proposal of the PSI method for the Web environment.

- Classes will begin with a presentation of the fundamental concepts of each topic, followed by a demonstration of their practical application through exercise solutions, both in the classroom and independently. This methodology aims to encourage active student participation and the development of autonomy and self-regulated learning skills. The expository method will be used to introduce the content, which will allow for the structuring of logical reasoning and facilitate the organization of knowledge. Additionally, the interrogative method will be used to assess the level of understanding and theoretical consolidation of the content covered in each chapter. Regarding the practical aspect, the demonstrative method will be used, with the presentation of illustrative examples, as well as active and participatory methods, which promote individual student engagement.

(*) A realizar no decorrer do semestre.

- The Mathematics course is a key component of many programs, especially in Science, Technology, Economics, Management, and Engineering—as is the case at CTeSP in TPSI. The main objective of this course is to provide students with a solid foundation in essential mathematical concepts, such as operations with different numerical bases, logic, set theory, linear algebra, graphs, and statistics. This knowledge is essential not only for more advanced courses but also for dealing with real-world problems that arise in various fields. Throughout the course, theoretical and practical tools are combined to help students think in a structured and logical way. The goal is for them to be able to interpret problems, find solutions, and apply concepts in a practical way. Furthermore, this course seeks to stimulate critical and analytical thinking, demonstrating the usefulness of mathematics in everyday life, helping students prepare for the future.
