  • This curricular unit aims to provide to students: (i) an understanding of how the Internet works and the services it offers; (ii) an understanding of the main fundamentals of Web Design; (iii) an understanding of the role of the main technologies and languages for the Web; (iv) the ability to build static web pages using web design tools and also by writing code; (v) an exploration of web development with so-called client technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Proceed with the legal and normative framework for OHS management in organizations, through the implementation of a Occupational Health and Safety management system; Know the various requirements of the ISO 45001: 2018 standard for the implementation of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System in the organization; Characterize the integrating elements of the management systems and the corresponding correspondences of the standard with other normative references; Know the needs associated with the preparation and response to emergency situations, and their inclusion in the scope of the Occupational Health and Safety management system; Proceed with the emergency legislative framework and identify the necessary resources foremergency intervention; Know and apply knowledge about the typology of prevention and emergency plans.
