  • The teaching approach adopted is based on the active method, encouraging co-operative (peer) and creative learning.   Presencial: 1. theoretical-practical teaching: Presentation of concepts and discussion of programme contents. 2. Laboratory practice: organisation of tourism activities and event planning in the context of the school and partner organisations; critical analysis of case studies and classroom debates related to tourism and events. 3. Simulated practice: Scenarios and activities that allow students to explore real-world situations related to the theme in question, applying the fundamental concepts exposed and developing practical skills. Autonomous: 4. Consolidation of the content taught in class by researching additional information on the different topics covered and developing additional work related to solving concrete problems and group dynamics.

  • The objectives of the course are: O1. To understand the concept of tourist attraction, analysing its relationship with events and tourist entertainment; O2. Define the characteristics, types and objectives of tourist entertainment, and explore the management involved, including the role of the animation team; O3. Understand the concept and characteristics of events and analyse the importance of tourist events; O4. Explore the event management process and the stages involved in organising events; O5. Understand the role of tourist entertainment programmes in organising events.
