- The course unit in Mobility and Tourist Transport actively incorporates new technologies as a fundamental part of the teaching and learning process. Through digital platforms and interactive transport-planning simulations, students have the opportunity to analyse real scenarios and make informed decisions. These technologies allow them to explore current industry trends, understand mobility patterns, assess environmental impacts, and design innovative solutions for sustainable tourism. By combining theory with digital resources, the course promotes a more practical, dynamic learning experience that is aligned with the current challenges of tourist mobility. The course unit also uses a real-world problem-solving methodology, allowing students to tackle concrete challenges from professional contexts.

- Knowledge: Analyse and understand the theoretical framework underlying the relationship between Tourism and Transport; Determine transport performance objectives within the tourism sector; Relate different modes of transport to the development of specific tourism products, understanding their particularities, the relationship between supply and demand, and the challenges faced by different sectors in terms of sustainability, such as cruise tourism, rail tourism, etc.; Plan primary and secondary transport operations in accordance with the specific objectives of tourist routes; Analyse the planning and management of transport modes in relation to the attractiveness, competitiveness, and sustainability of current tourist destinations and their future trends; Understand the technologies and information systems that support and assist the modern coordination of transport services.

- The course Mobility, Transport and Tourism analyzes the relationship between transport systems, mobility patterns and tourism development. It examines how accessibility, infrastructure and mobility policies influence destination choice, the traveler’s experience and the sector’s sustainability. The course covers topics such as the evolution of transport, different modes of travel, and current challenges related to sustainable mobility and new technologies. Through case studies and critical reflection, students develop the skills needed to understand the strategic role of transport in tourism and to propose solutions that contribute to more efficient, inclusive and environmentally responsible destinations.

- This course unit has two components: theoretical and practical. Classes will start with an approach to the definitions and theoretical concepts of the subjects. These will later be applied in the practical execution of worksheets, using the techniques learned with specific software.

- The curricular unit is intended for the student to learn the fundamentals on the following subjects: media and multimedia; digitization; compression; color and color coding; digital imaging; digital image compression; digital sound; digital video. At the end of the curricular unit, the student should be able to understand and explain the fundamentals of the processes involved in the computer representation of multimedia elements such as texts, images, sound, and video, as well as develop audiovisual projects with the concepts and techniques learned. In the context of learning social skills, it is intended to strengthen the capacities and attitudes of accountability and solidarity in the realization of group work projects.
