- The complexity and globalization of competition have made quality one of the essential factors for small and medium enterprises to achieve a competitive advantage in the market. Quality in business processes, from production to customer service, constitutes a fundamental differentiating element for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. For the reasons stated, implementing quality management systems has become vital, as well as certification of SMEs based on internationally recognized technical standards.
