  •     Studying the fundamentals of computer security are studied from a theoretical and practical point of view; Provide students with the necessary skills to be able to specify a security policy, implement it using the appropriate mechanisms, verify the compliance of that implementation and monitor its operation through testing, ensuring the pillars of computer security.  At the end of the curricular unit students should be able to: - Identify key risks affecting information systems as well as key checks to override them; -Specify and apply security policies to specific situations; -Use encryption techniques in real or simulated contexts; Perform penetration tests; Master security frameworks, example: OWASP; -Use audit, vulnerability testing and intrusion detection software. -Use systems to ensure the pillars of computer security: confidentiality, integrity, availability and authenticity..

  • Computer Security is a course that introduces the fundamentals of cybersecurity and the pillars of confidentiality, integrity, availability, and authenticity, enabling students to identify risks, define security policies, and apply encryption techniques, penetration testing, and auditing using frameworks such as OWASP.

  • The teaching methodologies are based on expository, interrogative and active methods in order to generate discussion and resolution of theoretical and practical exercises in the classroom. The equipment that makes up the servers included in the academy's rack will be used for demonstration purposes. Project and problem-based learning, case studies and seminars and discussions will also be used.

  • 1. The first phase of the course will cover content related to scientific research in order to prepare students for the written reports required for the project work. 2. The methodology for monitoring the project work will be the responsibility of the supervisor, but, as a general rule, it will consist of meetings at a frequency appropriate to the work/student in question. 3. In addition, the supervisor may require the student to submit a series of interim reports as a further means of monitoring compliance with all the stages and tasks required for the project work. At the end, the student must write a final report on the work carried out.

  • This course aims to provide students with their first contact with scientific research methods and techniques applied to data collection processes in a health context. Students will develop skills in observation, research, documentation, and critical analysis of the procedures and practices experienced. Learning objectives: O1. Familiarize students with research methods and techniques and their application to the scientific areas of the study cycle. O2. Develop skills in active observation and detailed documentation of data collection processes in health. O3. Prepare written reports following the methods and techniques of scientific writing. O4. Improve critical analysis skills in health data collection practices and techniques.

  • Avaliação Curricular (contínua e presencial):
    Esta modalidade de avaliação é constituída por:
    AVAL 1. Participação ativa na realização das atividades propostas no trabalho de projeto. AVAL 2. Redação do relatório final de trabalho de projeto.
    A classificação final é calculada através da fórmula Classificação Final = 0.4*A1+0.6*A2. O estudante é aprovado se obtiver classificação igual ou superior a 9.5 valores em 20.
    Avaliação Final (A) (presencial) (em qualquer época de avaliação): O estudante apresenta o relatório final de relatório de projeto (A=100%) e é aprovado se obtiver uma classificação igual ou superior a 9.5 valores em 20.

  • Avaliação continua:

    A avaliação é coerente com o desenvolvimento metodológico da unidade curricular e baseia-se, em qualquer época de avaliação, na realização de um trabalho de investigação com aplicação prática utilizando sistemas de código aberto. O trabalho prático terá a seguinte ponderação: relatório (30%), projeto (60%) e apresentação (10%).

     

    Avaliação final:

    Todos os estudantes que não tenham concluído com sucesso a avaliação continua podem realizar um exame prático (100%), avaliado nos mesmos moldes da avaliação contínua, na época de avaliação definida pela instituição.
