- Teaching Methodology: Classes will be practical in nature with the aim of supporting the completion of projects and the final report and holding seminars and workshops on the areas of digital media. The teaching methodology adopted mainly through the following methods: Problem-Based Learning (ABRP), also known as Problem-Based Learning (PBL).

- This curricular unit aims to apply the knowledge and skills developed throughout the study programme. In this sense, it should continue the project specified in the curricular unit “Multimedia Conception Project” by completing the remaining stages of Implementation, Deployment and Maintenance of the project development cycle. Competences: Ability to analyze, design, build and maintain applications robustly, safely and efficiently; Select the appropriate technologies; Analysis and modeling; Domain of modeling languages; Development of project design / development reports; Teamwork.

- Active Learning can be used in this curricular unit, promoting practical activities that involve students directly in the learning process, such as organising events of various sizes. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) will also be applied by developing a problem situation related to the planning, organisation and event management in tourism. We will also apply Collaborative Learning which promotes collaboration between students, encouraging them to work in groups to actively participate in the planning, organisation and management of the events they are going to host.

- It is intended to enable students to acquire a global perspective that allows them to understand and build knowledge around: a) the concepts, classification and typologies of events; b) event tourism, its economic, social, environmental and tourist impacts and the importance of resource monitoring; c) event planning, according to organizational and territorial contexts; d) the event organization process, in accordance with the rules of strategic and financial management; e) the importance of events as a factor of positioning and competitiveness of tourist destinations, in a perspective of complementarity and sustainable tourism development.

- Exposure of each topic of the subject, with practical application immediately through exercises and assignments, since this course is essentially laboratory practice. Therefore, the Problem Based Learning (ABRP) methodology will be used. Assessment methodology: Students choose between Continuous Assessment (1) or Final Assessment (2). 1. Continuous Assessment: - Practical work (photographic essays); 100%; 2. Final Assessment: - Practical Global Assessment Test (GAT); 100%; All students who have not successfully completed the assessment can take a final practical exam at the time of assessment defined by the institution.

- The curricular unit aims to provide students with knowledge, both theoretical and practical, of manipulating photography. At the end of the course unit the student should be able to: - Understand the technical and conceptual fundamentals of photography from the point of view of image creation, composing, capturing and editing photographic images. - Recognize and employ basic visual concepts involved in the design of photographic images and different rules, techniques and photographic principles. - Recognize and employ the fundamental technical concepts involved in capturing and digitally editing the photographic image. - Analyze themes, concepts, compositional structures, and techniques presented in images with different formats and functions. - Acquire and apply knowledge related to photographic image editing, using specific software.
- 1. The origins and historical evolution of photography: landmarks and main authors of this journey. 2. Visual foundations of photography: composition, framing, point of view, color, light and scale. 3. Technical and technological framework for capturing the photographic image. 4. The camera: different objectives, their characteristics and application contexts. 5. Technical concepts: shutter speed; opening; ISO; depth of field and focal length. 6. Authors of photography, themes and genres - photojournalism; portrait; advertising; product; architecture. 7. Photography as a social document, narrative and as a means of artistic expression. 8. Digital photographic image editing techniques: fundamental concepts of digital photography. 9. Image resolution and compression; photo editing and manipulation. 10. Organization of images on the computer; digital image editing software; production and printing.

Trabalho individual - Exercícios semanais de captação fotográfica - 40% (8 valores)
Trabalho em grupo - 3 ou 4 pessoas - 50% (10 valores)
Participação - 10% (2 valores)
(colocar questões, realizar as atividades gradualmente ao longo da UC, participar das avaliações por pares, participar das visitas, atitude no ambiente do laboratório, etc)
Exame:Não haverá exame escrito. Quem não atingir 10 valores terá de entregar os dois trabalhos práticos até a data do exame e apresentá-los oralmente. Os critérios de avaliação serão os mesmos já identificados. Será necessário refazer os dois trabalhos individualmente. Neste caso, o segundo trabalho passa a ser individual e terá de ser totalmente inédito
