Present the various types of trade and their importance to companies. Sensitize students to the potentialities of online marketing, the dissemination of products and services on the Internet and the importance of Social Networks.

  • The expository method will be used to transmit knowledge bases, but mainly the interrogative, active and demonstrative method for a critical analysis of the shared content and an effective understanding of the principles and processes of scientific research methodology and data analysis techniques. During the classrooms, various teaching-learning strategies will be combined: - Presentation and discussion of content using digital media and sources, made available on the e-learning platform used in the school; - Presentation of tools in real time (eg. scientific databases, databases such as SABI or World Economic Outlook Database); - Realization of practical exercises in order to consolidate the understanding of the different contents taught; - Individual and group work; - Tutorial support. The evaluation will be an integral part of the teaching-learning process, with feedback provided by the teachers regarding the evaluation elements.

  • The objectives are: -To provide the fundamentals and conceptual framework of research methodology, analyse and discuss the assumptions of scientific methodology and the principles and process of research in finance and taxation; -Promote the development of statistical reasoning, which allows, when faced with a specific problem, to identify variables and statistical tools to be applied in the validation of relationships between them; -To familiarize students with statistical techniques and tools (software-based) that allow the resolution of statistical problems. At the end of the course students will be able to: -Specify the fundamentals and identify the principles of scientific methodology; -Carry out structured procedures of bibliographic research; -Perform quantitative data processing using statistical software; -Understand and interpret results and statistical analysis made by other researchers or published articles in their area of activity.

  • Avaliação Contínua
    1ª Alternativa: Trabalho de grupo (com ponderação de 40%) e teste de avaliação final (com uma ponderação de 60%) em datas a combinar com os estudantes. Para obtenção de aprovação à unidade curricular a média ponderada dos elementos de avaliação terá de ser superior ou igual a 9,5 valores e a classificação no teste de avaliação final não poderá ser inferior a 7 valores.
    2ª Alternativa: Teste de avaliação global em data a combinar com os estudantes.

    Avaliação Final
    Todos os estudantes terão direito a um exame final, a realizar numa época de avaliação.

  • The course has the following main objectives: Explain the foundations and conceptual framework of research methodology, analyze and discuss the assumptions of scientific methodology and the principles and process of research in management; Develop statistical thinking, allowing, given a specific problem, to indicate the correct statistical tools to be applied in solving it; To familiarize students with the software that allows solving statistical problems.
