- The following points are adapted to the nature of the Seminar course: 1. Project-Based Learning (PBL): Students work on complex projects that address real-world issues. This promotes problem-solving skills, collaboration and critical thinking. 2. Problem-Based Learning (PBL): Students learn by solving authentic problems. They identify problems, conduct research and collaborate to find solutions, which promotes a deeper understanding of the content. 3. Cooperative Learning: Students work together in small groups to achieve common goals. Collaboration is emphasized, and each member of the group is responsible for their own and their classmates' learning. 4. Microlearning: Content is broken down into small units to facilitate fast, focused learning.

- The objectives of this curricular unit are the following: - Promote the acquisition of in-depth knowledge and skills regarding emerging areas of web systems and technologies; - Introduce elements of study and reflection on current subjects not covered in the remaining curricular units, through the use of specialists in different areas, to be defined each year, in view of the evolution of scientific knowledge and its importance for the development of students' skills; - Develop advanced research and applied research methodologies. At the end of the curricular unit, students should be able to: - Discuss the main conceptual frameworks in the areas addressed; - Demonstrate advanced skills in the preparation of scientific documents.

- This course aims to provide students with a holistic view of the relevance of interpreting organizational behaviour, as well as the role of communication in organizations. To this end, students will have access to expository-dialogued and participatory classes with the aim of providing a grounding in the main themes linked to organizational behaviour. Students will have the opportunity to understand how the communication process develops internally and externally. They will also learn about the styles and techniques used to communicate in a work environment, how to communicate effectively in the context of negotiation and leadership, and understand the stages involved in building a communication plan and defining its evaluation. In accordance with the themes being studied, students will be challenged to develop some practical activities to promote the application of the content learned.

- The expository method is used to transmit knowledge bases but, mainly, the interrogative and active method is used for a critical analysis of shared content and an effective application of the principles of information and communication in the area of safety and health at work. The student must acquire and/or develop critical analysis and synthesis, research and written and oral communication skills. To acquire these skills, the following teaching and learning methodologies will be used: 1. Expository, to present theoretical reference frameworks; 2. Interrogatives, for question-answer interactions and for confirming and clarifying doubts; 3. Active, with analysis and resolution of cases and practical exercises and carrying out group work with tutorial guidance in class; 4. Self-study and inverted classroom, related to the student's autonomous work, whether for class preparation, written test or group practical paper.

- Students should understand: - the scope and principles of OH and the activity of the occupational hygiene technician. - the classification of physical, chemical and biological agents. - the sources, methods of exposure assessment and control measures - the normative references and legal regulations in force. Specificly, students should be hable to: 1- specify the activities of OH, identify risk agents and occupational diseases and know the competencies and deontology of the occupational hygienist; 2- to know the fundamental scientific and technical concepts of noise, lighting and thermal environment; 3- to know the legislation and technical standards applicable to noise, lighting and thermal environment; 4- to know the measurement procedures and methods of evaluation of exposure to noise, lighting and thermal environment; 5- to know the instruments for measuring noise, lighting and thermal environment; 6- to know the measures to control exposure to noise, lighting and thermal environment.

- This curricular unit aims to provide its participants with knowledge and tools that enable them to identify risk factors, to assess risks in occupational hygiene and learn about risk control techniques for the prevention and protection of accidents and occupational diseases.
