  • 1.Teaching Method: Bearing in mind the objectives of theoretical and practical course, teaching methods planned are: Lectures for exposition of the subject (lecture method and interrogative) with presentations and discussions by the students (an active and participatory). Presentation of practical examples using dynamic image and group work Presentation of case studies, demonstrations. 2. Assessment method: 2 intermediate tests with a minimum grade of 7.5 values ¿¿and a weighting of 100% in the final grade. Period exam with a minimum grade of 9.5.

  • Objetives: Describe and apply the various diagnostic techniques of accidents risks, associated with the workplaces, manual handling and mechanical handling of loads, fitting with the minimum safety and health requirements of several references, both legal and normative. Implement and operate the processes to control the risk of accidents at work, through specific measures related to the workplace, with the manual handling of loads and the mechanical movement of loads. Describe and apply the specific methodologies for assessing the electrical risks. Implement and operationalize the specific processes to control the electrical risks. Characterize and apply personal protective equipment and describe the various types of personal protective equipment. Describe and apply the safety signs.

  • The following points are adapted to the nature of the Internship I course: 1. Project-Based Learning (PBL): Students work on complex projects that address real-world issues. This promotes problem-solving skills, collaboration and critical thinking. 2. Problem-Based Learning (PBL): Students learn by solving authentic problems. They identify problems, conduct research and collaborate to find solutions, which promotes a deeper understanding of the content. 3. Cooperative Learning: Students work together in small groups to achieve common goals. Collaboration is emphasized, and each member of the group is responsible for their own and their classmates' learning. 4. Microlearning: Content is broken down into small units to facilitate fast, focused learning.

    • A assiduidade só será considerada na determinação da nota final caso o aluno seja com isso beneficiado.

    Modalidade 2

    • 2 trabalhos individuais (com uma ponderação de 15% cada)
    • Teste de avaliação final (com uma ponderação de 70% cada) em data a combinar com os alunos (nota mínima de 7 valores)

  • With this course is intended that students obtain an overview of the concept of interest and discount, and its importance in financial mathematics. In this sense, the main objectives are the perception of the time value of money using the concepts of present and future value and application of some concepts of financial mathematics in the study of some financing and investment instruments.
