  • The curricular unit Interface & Usability has as main objective to pass on knowledge to students so that they get to know the various philosophies, used over time in the design of interfaces: The complex machine whose language the human being has to learn to be able to use it; The machine designed for a good user experience, where the user is in control. In practice and, applying theoretical knowledge to a project, students should achieve the ability to create objects (in information technologies) that improve the way people work, communicate and interact with resources to information system artifacts.
  • The importance of HMI Humans vs Computers: systems Perception; Memory; Cognitive Processes and Models; Devices and interaction styles; Usability concepts and requirements Analysing users and tasks Conceptual Interaction Model Interface Design Principles: Norman design principles; Shneiderman golden rules; Nielsen heuristics; Interface design and prototyping platforms: advantages/disadvantages. Introduction to Adobe XD, Axure RP and UXPin platforms. Screen design: principles of graphic design; use of colour; typography; screen resolution and density; writing messages for the user; division of tasks by screen; Applied Design: Sources of Information and Data Collection UX - User Experience.  Interfaces for mobile devices: types of mobile devices and specific features; Interaction: mobile devices; Designing web interfaces: layout; content; navigation; portability; accessibility; web design standards Prototyping: characteristics and types of prototypes

  • This course will give students the ability to understand and analyze a company as a whole, articulating the various functions that integrate it with the trends of the environment in which it operates; ability to harness the power of creativity and create innovative action plans for a company. You will discover that everyone can benefit from innovation and use their own ideas as a force for transformation. This module explains why innovation is so important in today's digital world. Four fundamental principles will be presented and will be the themes that we will follow throughout the course. innovation is not idea creation, it's about commercializing and exploitation of ideas; innovation represents different things to different people; innovation is a systemic capability of some companies; Innovation is everyone's job.

  • This course aims to provide students with a holistic view of the relevance of interpreting organizational behaviour, as well as the role of communication in organizations. To this end, students will have access to expository-dialogued and participatory classes with the aim of providing a grounding in the main themes linked to organizational behaviour. Students will have the opportunity to understand how the communication process develops internally and externally. They will also learn about the styles and techniques used to communicate in a work environment, how to communicate effectively in the context of negotiation and leadership, and understand the stages involved in building a communication plan and defining its evaluation. In accordance with the themes being studied, students will be challenged to develop some practical activities to promote the application of the content learned.
