  • Students will draw up a complete plan for a public presentation on a specific topic, applying knowledge from a theoretical model of good practice, and will then present their public speech in front of an audience. Students put themselves into action and experience real (albeit classroom) effective communication.

  • This course unit aims to strengthen students' knowledge and application of effective communication in different interpersonal contexts, namely the business context. The programmatic content allows achieving these objectives, in that it addresses the basic concepts of communication and works critically on the difficulties, opportunities, and challenges, current and future, that successful internal communication poses to people and organizations.

Differentiate the biomedical model from the biopsychosocial model and its implications; LG3.Distinguish the models of health promotion and prevention, as well as the different moments of prevention; LG4. Identify research and evaluation models, as well as the procedures, techniques and instruments most used in Clinical and Health Psychology; LG5.Understand the intervention models and their specificities depending on the individual's stage of development; LG6. Understand the different contexts in Clinical and Health Psychology; LG7. Know the specific ethical and deontological principles of Clinical and Health Psychology.
