- By the end of the semester, students should have achieved the following learning objectives: O1: Understand Geographic Information Systems as geographic modelling systems and territorial data infrastructure. O2: Distinguish conceptually and operationally between GIS, CAD and BIM, understanding the possibilities and limitations of their integration. O3: Critically interpret territorial policy instruments in light of the digital infrastructure necessary for their operationalisation and monitoring. O4: Formulate a conceptual proposal for a territorial Digital Twin consistent with national or regional strategic instruments. O5: Develop critical, argumentative and strategic skills in the articulation between territory, spatial data and sustainability.

CP5 - GIS and territorial policy in Portugal: SDGs, Circular Cities, PROT Algarve, PNPOT and REOT 2024. - The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) course introduces students to understanding territory as structured digital infrastructure. GIS is approached not only as a cartographic tool, but as a spatial modelling system and structure for territorial data relations, providing a conceptual basis for the development of territorial Digital Twins. In a context of increasing digitisation of territorial planning and governance, the course covers the fundamentals of GIS, BIM-GIS integration, Spatial Data Infrastructures and national and regional public policy instruments. The aim is for students to understand the territory as a digital data system and recognise the strategic role of spatial data in monitoring and evaluating sustainability and spatial planning policies, promoting a critical and contemporary view of architectural practice in integrated digital territorial environments.

- Theoretical-practical classes (3 hours per week). The following teaching-learning (ME) methodologies will be used in classes: 1. Expository, to present theoretical reference frameworks; 2. Participatory, with analysis and resolution of practical exercises; 3. Active, carrying out individual and group work; 4. Independent Work: In addition to class attendance, the student is expected to spend autonomous work time of around 4 hours per week. 5. 60% of classes will be given remotely, using the TEAMS platform.

- This curricular unit aims to provide an introductory approach to Organizational Psychology and its core areas for organizations. Specifically, it intends to identify and differentiate the different methods, concepts and theories that explain the behaviour of the individual, and of the groups in an organizational context; characterize the behaviour of different organizational actors at different levels of analysis; understand the fundamental concepts and areas in PTO; and train for the theoretical and epistemological understanding of different points of view, as an essential element for effective communication and coherent action within organizations At the end of this course students should be able to understand the individual, group and organizational dynamics and their relationship/influence with labour dynamics.
