- The contact hours will be theoretical and practical in nature, with the syllabus content being presented using illustrative examples of the topics covered, whenever possible. In this sense, the use of the expository method should be combined with the interrogative and active methods, using the PBL (problem-based learning) methodology, in order to stimulate discussion and critical analysis of the syllabus content and thus promote understanding and knowledge acquisition. Assessment will be based on a theoretical-practical exercise to be developed individually. It will be based on the following weightings: • Attendance and participation: 30% of the final mark; • Theoretical-practical exercise: 70% of the final mark.

- The aim is for students to strengthen their skills and awareness of the relevance of sustainability and circularity in the context of the project exercise. They should be able to: Recognise and explain the relevance of sustainable development applied to different scales - urban and built; Reflect on the environmental impacts associated with the different phases of a building's life cycle. Apply the principles and strategies of sustainability and circularity within the scope of a practical exercise.

- Provide information about the social and historical context of the emergence and evolution of sexology as an interdisciplinary science and present the state of the art. Provide general knowledge about the objectives, developmental aspects, process, evaluation methods and measures and the main biopsychosocial conceptualization models in the area of sexuality. The aim is to develop skills related to the capacity for critical and reflective analysis at a conceptual level, specifically, through the ability to understand and debate about the constructs and theoretical models of human sexual behavior, as well as the acquisition of general knowledge relating to objectives, process, methods and contexts in the domains of sexuality.
- Historical and cultural perspective of sexuality and sexual roles. Sexuality and the life cycle. Sexuality in childhood/adolescence, sexuality during pregnancy and after childbirth, and in the second half of life. Sexuality, mental disability, mental illness, physical disability and chronic illness. Sexuality and STIs The human sexual response. Sexual response disorders. Assessment and conceptualization models. Sexual dimorphism and psychological processes. Sex roles and sexuality. Gender identity and sexual orientation. Specific questions: Minority sexual behavior. Gender violence. Coercion and sexual abuse. State of the art: Sexology of the 21st century. Future directions. Ethical issues.

Observações: Os estudantes com estatuto de trabalhador-estudante e os atletas de alta competição, caso ultrapassem o limite de faltas, poderão realizar os exercícios posteriormente através da avaliação complementar. Para os alunos com NEE (Necessidades Educativas Especiais), serão aplicadas as adequações necessárias de acordo com o relatório da equipa especializada em NEE.

- Sexuality is part of the entire life cycle, "it is the energy that motivates us to seek love, contact, tenderness and intimacy and is related to how we feel and how we deal with each other"(WHO, 2006). Sexual health influences physical and mental health and also contributes to a better quality of life. A positive approach to sexuality is needed, as well as the possibility of having pleasant and safe sexual experiences, free from coercion, discrimination and violence (Who, 2009). This UC addresses important issues of sexuality, as history, specific issues of gender, sexual orientation and violence, human sexual response and sexual problems. Throughout life, issues and difficulties related to sexuality often arise, or situations that interfere with sexual health, which leads to intense malaise, can arm relationships and mental and physical health. Thus, this UC is of essential importance for intervention in the field of psychology.
