A classificação final (CF) da unidade curricular por avaliação contínua é obtida a partir das classificações obtidas na componente escrita (T) e na componente prática (PL). A componente Teórica consta de duas frequências escritas e é relativa aos conteúdos teóricos. A classificação mínima em cada frequência é de 8 valores. A componente prática consta de 2 momentos de avaliação práticos realizados durante as aulas laboratoriais, A classificação mínima de cada momento é de 8 valores. A classificação final é calculada a partir da seguinte fórmula: CF = 0,50 T + 0,50 PL. A classificação de todos os instrumentos de avaliação é expressa numa escala de 0 a 20 valores, sendo que o valor ponderado das classificações obtidas tem de ser igual ou superior a 9,5

- The scope of this curricular unit (UC) is to provide students with specific knowledge about drugs, in terms of their pharmacological and safety profile, so that students can advise on the rational and correct use of drugs in different pathological situations, in an outpatient clinic. The student should be able to identify possible occurrences of adverse reactions resulting from the administration of a particular drug, and know how to interpret therapeutic goals, helping to adhere to the medical prescription therapy, and minimize administration errors by the patient.

- Innovative methodologies supporting the teaching-learning process favour an active, integrated, and student-centred approach, linking knowledge of Histology, Embryology, and Histophysiology with the understanding of the structural and functional organization of the human body. Problem-based learning and applied cases make it possible to relate normal embryonic development to congenital anomalies, as well as to associate the microscopic structure of tissues and organs with their function and susceptibility to disease. The use of histological images, embryological diagrams, digital atlases, three-dimensional models, videos, simulations, and interactive resources supports the visualization of dynamic processes and microscopic structures. Guided analysis of histological preparations and clinical situations stimulates observation, accurate description, critical reasoning, and integration with Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Pathology.

- Histology and embryology are two important areas in science and health science teaching. They are two related sciences. Histology is the study of the microstructures of the human body and their functions; It is divided into general histology, which studies the cellular and extracellular matrix of the four basic types of tissue, and special histology that studies the microscopic anatomy of various organs. Embryology will explain prenatal organism development and is divided into general embryology that studies germ cell development, fertilization and early development of the human embryo, and special embryology that studies organ formation and malformation. In addition to lectures, the curricular unit includes laboratory practices, where morphology is studied in histological slides under optical microscope.
